We shall see how this goes Thanks for the advice and help, really appreciate it ! im sure you will be fine on stock for what you want, im just saying people have clamped the amp at higher than rated, by running clean pow2er with good electrical, basically it will do whats needed for your subs, but upon being able to afford the big 3 or better alt, this will help the amp perform much better Yeah well of course, I'm gonig to do the big 3 and 1/0 . So... That should be fine for now, and eventually, when I get tired of these subs + amp and I want something louder, I'll buy a battery, an alt, and go bigger . But I think I'll be satisfied with this system for a while.

To be quite honest, I wish I knew what SQ for SPL meant. :/ Anywayss, what do you mean "Cheap and Dirty" . Like, I know its cheap, that's why I'm asking if I should get it But dirty? Like does it make the sub sound cheap? Or what? And would the AP make my subs knock harder then the AQ? Even though I know a few hundred watts can't be heard, but idk.

I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many threads you can post in one day, but I posted one earlier, so if I'm breaking a rule, I apologize. So as SOME of you guys MAY know, I've been trying to get my system for a while. And silly me didn't know that asking questions on a forum would give me answers so different from each other, its amazing. Beyond the point, I'm going to run (2) Sundown Audio SA-12's Dual 4 on either one of these amps. (1) AQ1200D or (1) AP15001D. I heard the AQ is more expensive because it is made with "higher" quality parts, but the AP can do just as much damage as the AQ, and is about half as cheap. Do you think it really matters if I go with the AP? I know the AQ has a LED light that tells me if I'm overpowering the amp, but can't I just but a virtual volt meter and put it on my dash or something? I would really love to buy an AQ2200D but I'm a teenager and I can't just pull money out of my neighbors apple tree. Whoever can answer this question, I really appreciate it. Is there really a DIFFERENCE between the AQ1200D and the AP15001D? Thanks. *I would also like to say MERRY CHRISTMAS once again, and I hope everything went well for everyone. Yeah I know. I think I'm just going to stick with uhh. THe AQ1200D. Im pretty sure the AQ1200D, if taken care, could push out more then it offers. As long as I can feel the bass shake in the back seats, and it sounds crisp, I'm happy.

You seem like an intelligent guy. May I ask you a question? Since we're talking about electrical, would I be able to RUN 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's D4 on an AQ2200D with a stock alt. But I'll get a battery in the back, like 2400 watts, or something like that. But I won't have THAT battery until like 2 months after I INSTALL my system. Make sense? Or am I just wasting words. :/

Ehh. I don't need my 1st system to be amazing.. 2 Sa-12's with an AQ1200D would be just fine.

Hey there guys. Is it a good idea to buy the subwoofers + amp before you even have the car. I have an idea of what car I'm going to get, and I'm 90% sure I'll get it. But eitherway, I'm still going to use the same subs + amp no matter what car I get unless it's going to be a SUV which I highly doubt. I want to order 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's D4 with an AQ1200D. I really wish I couldn't. But I'm 16 man I don't have a job. I have my money from savings. 800 to spend. Buying 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's Dual 4 (395$) with an AQ1200D (250$), + wiring and all that = maybe another (75$) . Ill probably have around 100 to spend on a HU. But Ill try and find another 300 to buy that Pioneer. And what do you mean Jensen has the worlds best pre volts? Explain more? Sorry for the lack of knowledge. Getting new into this hobbie, and taking as much advice as I can

Looks like a banging HU. 450$! Ill check that out if I have the money after I buy my SA-12's and AQ1200. If I do, Ill def. get it. If not, Ill probably go with a Jensen.

Im digging the Jensen to be honest, but I heard its a bad HU.. Not sure though, for the price, it looks good. Does it come with navi? or does it just say navi. Lol cause Im confused about all that navigation stuff. Do you just install it and it automatically has navigation haha
