  1. Anybody know any good rims to fit on a 06 Honda Civic Sedan? Maybe like some 18's? Or 20's? Who knows? Staggered and prefer black gloss or something like that. How much would 18's cost? And 20's? Thanks.
  2. Spend 10$ and buy Counter Strike 1.6. If your good / skillful, you can win money. I went leagues and won 800$. There's a system right there for you. Good luck.
  3. good miles? just looked it up on craiglist. how does it run with the miles above 100k? MPG?
  4. I wish I knew what that was.. Theres like 3 different g6's. Pontiac?
  5. Hey there fellas, I was just wondering, I am 16 years old and getting my first car. My dad said he will buy me a car USED under 9grand. Maybe like a 05 Accord or a 06 Civic. But I was just wondering, anybody have any other suggestions on cars I could get. There are some requirements though with this. Here they are: -Must be used / around 9k and under -Prefer a sedan -Trunk space (to fit 2 12's or 2 15's) + back room space (to fit big guys - tongans) -Regular gas, no premium / diesel -Absolutely no BMW's. My dad hates them due to their manufacturing issues and breaking down -Toyota, Honda, Acura, Lexus are pluses. And yeah, that should be it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  6. I was looking at that, wasn't that for the uhh.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fi X's? That's what I thought.
  7. I was wondering if anyone could answer this. I am looking into buying two 12" Fi SSD's running on an AQ1200D. I was thinking since Christmas is coming up, is there going to be any deals or specials on these subs? Or any other 12" subwoofers Fi Provides? If so, can you please mention when it starts and ends? And if any Fi members read this, what the deal / special is? Thank you.
  8. yes, you have to cut the wire because youre not going to get the wire sent to you in the exact length you need. there will be some things you will need but you should be fine with basic tools in the garage. like i said, check craigslist in the automotive section under services. see if someone is willing to do it cheap and help them as they do it. also, shop around your local area. there just might be a local shop willing to do it within your budget but i wouldnt hold my breath Yeah True. What do you have in your cars? Or Car. Im guessing cars since you said You have Fi/AA in 3/4 of your cars.. So haha.
  9. Haha but if you mess up. Theres no worse feeling when you turn the key to see if it works and your car smokes and the engine sparks up and causes a major fire. Haha. But Ill see and try and learn and watch tutorials and all of that good stuff.
  10. True, very true. Well, to be 100% honest, I'm not familiar with set-ups and such. So what do I do? Go to my local stereo shop and ask them to make me a box? Tuned to what? How big? Etc. Etc. Like, I need help with that, and I don't know what to do. I've seen the big 3 tutorial, and I've seen all of that, but I feel like I'm going to mess up, or do it wrong. So, should I just get someone to do it? I know people on here can make me a box for a great price, but I can't do that, due to me using my brothers credit card and he doesn't want me to use it on stuff like that. You just gotta jump in there and do it bro. The only way you learn is by doing it. And if you fuck up, try it again lol. Just keep doing your research online. Pretty much everything I have learned I learned from this site and youtube and by trial and error. But I saw videos of it, like the new install of an alt. I have to cut stuff? I'm not 100% sure, may be only in that video, but if I miscut something, Opps there goes my car. Haha you know? Like, I can't take that risk. Maybe I can watch a professional do it then get it like that? Who knows. Thanks for the advice though

  12. Yeah, I know. But I've heard GREAT reviews on Fi. And I've looked up the AQ subs, either I've typed it in wrong, or it won't show up. But like I said, I've heard that Fi's are great sounding wise, lasting wise, and just overall. Never heard the reviews on AQ, but I heard the amps are fantastic. All I'm saying is, I want sub's that would last me a while (1-2 years) and still sound as if there brand new. And to be quite honest, I'll have to pass on the Pioneer. Don't get me wrong, Pioneer has some great products, but I've heard the subs in real life before, and I am not a fan.
  13. Thanks so much. I realized you've been helping me through all my dumb questions, and I greatly appreciate it. Wait, couldn't I just buy 2 12" Fi's on an AQ1200? Either SSD's or BL's? If I get the BL's, I could use the AQ1200 at first until I get my new alt, then I can just sell the amp and just upgrade to the AQ2200 keeping the same subs.
  14. Well, I shall find out when I measure the trunk, but if not, Ill go with 2 12's. And like I said before, my first system has to be around 800$, with 2 12's, or 2 15's, running with 1.6k-2k watts. That's all I ask for. :/
  15. i know you're not talking about me but im not rich by ANY means. i make like $100 a week if im lucky. its all about saving and buying things one by one. for a rule of thumb, you ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS want to start off with a small system. you absolutely must learn from your mistakes if you want to keep increasing in power. i started off with a 4 channel (only used 2 channels) on a 10" kicker comp from 2001 in a sealed box with like 100rms. now im up to 2 12" dc level 3's on 1500rms. i mustve spent about a grand just in the audio thats in my car right now(counting every little thing). if you jump straight into multi thousand watt territory, you MUST over look every little connection you made. it doesnt take much to cause sparks and failures. Well you make 100$ a week is great to me.. I make no money at all because of high school. I need to focus on school instead of having a job and getting paid. But, I mean, 10" with 100rms is kind of.. to small for me. Not being rude or anything, but that's just how I look at things. If I'm going to spend the money, might as well spend it right the first time, and not go step by step wasting money.
  16. theres many different ways i can answer this but ill go this route. you can have 20 18's and still hear the vocals. you just need a BUNCH of amplifiers and speakers solely for the tweeters/midbass. simply replacing your door and rear deck speakers and putting an external amplifier onto them will make them sound VERY nice (much better than the headunit ever will). 2 12's SHOULD be fine for the "perfect" amount of bass you're talking about. i say "should" because everyone likes different bass levels. someone might think a single 8 is enough and some people think 8 15's isnt enough haha. for ssd's, an audiopipe ap18001d will be fine. http://www.caraudiodeals.com/audiopipe-ap18001d-p-2812.html as for the box, it depends on how big your trunk is in order to figure out which size to get, 12's or 15's. Yeah, well to be honest, I wanted like 4 18's running like 20k watts . But I dont have a tahoe :/ . Haha but I love bass, and when I mean love, I mean love. Like, I could listen to bass all day, as people have told me. But the only reason why I want 2 15's is because I'm a teenager and I cannot afford expensive systems like Steve or any of you guys. That's why I want 1.6-2k watts because I can't afford a new alt. I'll look into things soon.
  17. Yeah I know what you mean. I mean, I want slap, but I dont want SO much slap where it doesnt sound good. I want to be able to hear the music, but the bass is outstanding. Like the seats in the back vibrate, you can hear it from outside, and its like "bass" heaven INSIDE the car. Like the perfect amount of bass for everyone wanting to ride in your car. You know? But Ill make sure to post the measurements before I buy the subs. But If I want the Fi's, Whats a good amp to run with them? For 1.6-1.8k watts. Or even, like you said, 2k watts.
  18. Yeah, well to be quite honest, I dont really want 12's. I kind of want some 15s. But thats just me being honest. But Ill for sure check them out.
  19. Okay, So I've been asking pretty dumb questions on this forum, and I've been getting great answers. But here is my last question for a WHILE, because this is how I am going to imagine my system. So I have a Honda Accord 04, and I want some "slap". Ive been thinking about 15's, 12's, etc. Since I'm probably going to stick to a STOCK Alternator, I can't go for 2.6k Watts or any of that, so should I get 2 Fi 15" SSD's and under power it and give it 1.6-1.8k watts, then when I upgrade my alt, I get a new amp and put 2.6k watts on it? The only reason why I would want to do this is because my friend has a Honda Accord with 2 15" Kickers running 2.6k on a STOCK alt, and it sounds like the vids on youtube. Theres no base, it's just vibration. That is why I would buy the 15's, under power it until I get a new alt, then add more watts. Would that be fine? And if so, what are some good amps for under 300$. Thanks. P.S. I feel really stupid because I've posted multiple posts about the same question but different topic. I'm going to stop that because I noticed I've gotten plenty of great answers but I just don't look into it as much. I will on this one. Sorry if you ever posted great answers on my previous post's and you have to post again. I won't post for a while again because this is probably how I'm going to run it. Thank you. Thank you very much. This is my last post once again for a good while. -Ryan
  20. And delete this post. I've gotten enough information. Thanks to everyone.
  21. But I don't find money in my backyard on my trees.. I',m sorry if I can't afford some stuff you guys can. Just kill me now. Like I said, I don't have a job and I'm only 16 and I just want to come up on this as a new hobby. The actual stuff wont come till I get money.. So.. Yeah.
  22. Well, I obviously havent been given super great advice if I keep asking.. The only good advice I have got is from private messages, thats bout it. And if you don't like it.. Dont click it? Duh
  23. Whats up guys, I am here once again. Even though I just posted a few days ago.. :/ Oh well. But anyways, I've tried to find a post about the Hardest Slapping 12's on a stock alt. Like, I mean 12's that can slap as hard as 15's. The only reasons why I'm asking this is because I'm probably going to get a honda.. Maybe an accord? Or maybe a civic. Not 100% sure. If it's an accord, I probably can fit two 15's. But if its a civic, I MOST likely probably wont be able. If I'm wrong, please correct me and make my day. But anyways, that's why I'm asking what's the hardest slapping 12's on the market. My budget is probably around 800$, maybe more if its worth it. I'm looking for around 2k+ watts, and so forth. Maybe some Fi 12 SSD's? But.. Idk. Someone suggested audioque sdc2.5 12's? Or 15's? Either or. But if any of you guys have a suggestions, please feel free to leave them. Thanks. And if you saw my other post, I'm sorry I'm posting so many, I just feel like my 1st system should go out with a bang... Literally, a BANG. -Jin
  24. Went on the site, went to 2010 News, Went to "CLICK HERE" for the 8" and 15". And then it said "Theres a problem, please try again later." Refreshed more then 5 times. Haha
