  1. lol thats way different ur nearly seeing triple the power i am which requires triple the power to produce the amp didnt get hot one bit and it was like not even 20 seconds. ill make another video of it just going and ill watch the volt meter
  2. i did 1.5 cu.ft before it sounded good AMICustoms recommended i did 2.00 cu.ft , so i got to 1.99 after displacement of port and woofer tuned it to 35hz and it was incredibly better.
  3. you all must have just watched the ending of one video when the car was on lowest it dropped was 12.3 it does nee dbig 3 but i dont run it like that all the time my 60 amp alternator isnt enough thats right but i ran it 10v for like 30 seconds? and nothing got hot at ALL if you watch the whole video and all 3 it never drops lower then 12.3 volts infact at the end of video 2 is what you all referring to listen the last 20 seconds of the video that clicking clang noise is me pulling out my key and turning it off 20 seconds of car off play? im fine.
  4. Not if you only have 10" of external width, that would give you 8.5" internal if you are using .75" MDF. sorry i was being rude yesterday took my life problems on everything make the box 11.5 adding the mdf on the sides the face board will be 10" tho
  5. 1st video catches you up with my system and has a little flex on betrayed/decaf 2nd Video is different aspects of my truck and flex 3rd video is steering wheel flex mainly PD Decaf flex 1/0 KNU Konceptz oxygen free AQ 1200.1 sd 2.5 AQ Sub wired at 2 ohms sony xplod headunit kicker RCA's boss 6.5 and cheap tweets ( upgrades soon) check the build log its old but show some love
  6. one quick bump then ill be back in few hours to check
  7. i am tired of space i have in my single cab and i will not give up my audioque subs or amp so dont even try and ask i wanna design a better box for my truck but it going to be different, i got about 10" between the seats 38 from floor to roof 22.5 from my shift to the rear wall/windshield.
  8. rofl its a slight ping but really if you play competitively it makes a huge difference the smallest second matters also thats why pros play on like viewsonic monitors cause vga and screen refresh/delay makes a big difference.
  9. not bashing turtle beach but i have owned X4's ( aka X41 Now ) x12's XL1 and x1's and lets just say that cheap plastic is not very durable at all and thats why i got astros cause there made way more durable the frame of the headset is actually metal and its way more comfortable and cooler ( on your ears ) i have had my astros since 2007 and only problem i have had is a usb cable and that broke like 2 weeks ago i emailed them and even though my warranty didnt run out he still gave me the cable for free and said if i needed anything else to email him ( that is something TB cant offer customer service like they do ) ( oh and btw those 7.1 dolby surround sound headset TB kill batterys fast and between every wireless headset there is a ping delays ) thats why pros play on wired everything including controllers. also alot of people will buy the astro mix amps http://www.astrogaming.com/mixamp/mixamp-usb and the use steel series headsets ( there most durable and its 7.1 ) http://steelseries.com/us/products/audio
  10. its not true 5.1 lol they are true 7.1 if you have the optical cable there is a reason they use it on mainstage for MLG . buy a a40 mix amp and hit digital dolby button you will be amaze in the sound difference. http://www.astrogaming.com/audio-systems/a40-audio-systems/a40-audio-system-mlg-edition • Ships With: A40 Headset, Astro Speaker Tags and Astro MixAmp • Headset Cables Include: 2M 3.55mm Quick Disconnect Cable; PC Splitter/Adapter • MixAmp Cables Include: 3M Optical TOSLink, 3M USB-USB Mini, 1.5M Xbox Live Chat Cable, 2M 3.5mm Audio Cable, PC Headset Y-Adapter, Daisy-Chain Connector • Transducer Principle: Dynamic, Open • Frequency Response: 15 - 28,000 Hz • Norminal Impedance: 50 ohm • Weight w/o Cable: 324 grams • Characteristic SPL: 104dB • Ear Coupling: Circumaural • Headband Pressure: 2.6 N • Distortion: Less than 0.1% • Mic: 6.0mm uni-directional noise canceling • Power Supply: USB mini-B (USB 2.0 compatible), or 4 x AA batteries (not included) • Power Output: 70mW 32ohm per channel • Battery Life: 12+ Hours • Frequency Response: 35 - 20,000 Hz • Inputs (front): Headset connector, 2.5mm Xbox Live voice communication connector • Inputs (rear): L/R analog RCA, TOSlink digital, coaxial digital, 3.5mm microphone (PC voice), 3.5mm mp3 connector, USB mini-B (audio/power)
  11. ^ lucky the reason im trying to get you all get best you can out of this system is i do the local system installs so if someone sits in his car and likes what they hear i want them to come to me.
  12. TeamHT you have helped me work personally before PM me we will get into more detail about this system
  13. Post links to all of this and maybe i can convince him other wise wood would only be like $60 and we could use a cheap wiring kit until he can afford better. triple quote no links? and TeamHT i agree bro i honestly dont think he needs to exchange the stock audio just change headunit rear deck door amp kit and 2 subs or even 1 big nice sub on a decent amp.
  14. he trying to replace the stock audio honestly i see no point in replacing it but he will say other wise plus he like his highs real high you know what i mean?
  15. also i think the only real thing he said he would spend alot on the headunit ( what kills me is his buick had a soundstream 1500.1 amp and FI 15 sub with pioneer 6.5s all the way around with pioneer 4v pre amp headunit with 1/0 amp kit form knu and now he steps down.....shame shame. )
  16. I gotcha now, my friends put me in the same predicament as well. I usually try to talk them up a little on price tho lol, I'll give it a shot tho. try your best bro i have made some cheap subs sound good before. so you can go cheap there he was after some audiopipe subs he seen on ebay for $50 edit these i believe he was looking at i have never heard of them personally http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDIOPIPE-PREMIUM-10-CAR-AUDIO-600-W-DVC-SUB-WOOFER-/350444726513?pt=Car_Subwoofers_Enclosures&hash=item51982228f1#ht_3199wt_1265

  19. i challenge yall to build a system including -2 tweets 6 6.5 or 5.5 mids -3 10" subs -Amp -Headunit ( and install kit ) -and Amp kit also including wood seems maybe impossible or weak lets see what yall make. Links to all please. and total. also this is going in a volvo s70 1998. trunk is pretty big. ported or non ported thats your choice.
