IM GETTIN READY TO BUILD MY WALL IN THE ASTRO WEIGHT IS A CONCERN SO I WAS WONDERING IF ANY ONE KNEW THE WEIGHT OF AN AVERAGE 4X4X9 PIECE OF LUMBER AND A 4X4X10 MORE THEN LIKELY IT WILL BE PINE..... I WAS CONSIDERING DOING A WALL OUT OF SOLID 4X4 TO CONSTRUCT THE BOX AND THEN PUT A SHEET OR 2 OF MDF OVER TOP OF IT ALL .... BUT IM NOT SURE STILL PLANING

BAHHHH a little 110-120v never hurt no one lol im around 12.47kv to 345kv daily lool...... but ya 120 can hurt/kill is circumstances are right...... only think i can think of is having a box just sitting in the back and having it fly forward like said lol...... but there are dangerous with building the stuff connecting the stuff shorting wires ect but i really dont think much of it is life threating

well god damn .. i got 50ft of blue and 50 of black hyper flexs 1/0 so i can get 4 runs out of each black and blue so i could do 4 but then i have to buy another spoool of each just for battery hook up and amp hook up and some big 3 if i can do 2 runs or even 3 ic could be fine with what i got id think .... so if im gunna need more then what i got im just gunna do 4 runs of each lol

GERRRR, lol well i know that be best but would it really be needed if i only have 2 alts that will put out a max of 300 amps each and each run of 1/0 is rated at 300 amps each so if id do 2 of each in theory wouldn't that be enough ......

i got a astro van im gunna be running some stuff in and im gunna have 4 16v powermaster batts in the back and 2 16v alts up front..... my first question is how many runs of 1/0 should i do to the back since im gunna be running all them batts in the back should i just do 2 runs of + AND 2 OF - ? 1 run of each of each alt? or do 4+ and 4- ? the front battery is gunna be a 12v agm battery like a yellow top and im gunna get a 993 step down mod. from powermaster to charge it then from there go off that to the vans stuff and also hu and highs and mids amp. so opinions on this >? i have a xxv maxximus so thats what im gunna power im doing 2 alts and 4 batts in the back wanna do 16v but i think 16v might be a lil much for the vasn ecm ect .... thanks for the help !

I got a lot of stuff i need to give up, pics are below with prices as fallows, if you interested in a item post or pm me an i can get more pics if you would like. beyma rf-402 4'' coaxial with neo mag like new, planed to use em for a project but need the cash- 30+sh for em Jl 6'' w0 svc 8 brand new was gunna build a t-line for the comp system, but again need the cash, i hate to see this go 50+ sh digital audio da4010 10'' sub like new i got it cheap to play with but dont got time. 400w dvc 4 idk 30 +sh philips magnavox surrounds sound speakers center channel and subwoofer, came with a home theater in a box , sounds decet get prtty loud the sub is actualy pretty nice for being a lil 6.5'' sub there lower power speakers ideal for bedroom or computer setup. fair condition sub has the worst wear on it but not bad. 25+ sh for em all! jvc rx-7030vbk - very nice 6.1 ht receiver love it but need $ lol 125+sh do some research on it its a steal! also come with remote control only thing wrong is the front that folds down the hing is broken so its dont stay in place when folded. 2 5 disc cd changers- 1 is a yamaha with remote the other a technics lost the remote both wokr perfect. offer me apric eon these 2 idk how much cd players go for lastly is a sharp dd player and a teac dual tape player lol. the tape player is actauly in great condition the sharp dvd player the sharp emblem is broken off..... offer me priceo n these items too PICS if need more or specific ask!

this is true ^ also there is wire that is alumina and copper clad which is basically a mixture of copper and alumina. copper is good and also tinted is fine too asicly thats what the oxy free is on the wire. it also helps keep impedance rice down or less resistance in the wire..... i have 2 spools of kicker hyperflex 1/0 1 blue and one grey i might sell and... sinc ei work at first energy i like tht 4/0 stranded cable we have haha i need to get pics of it its insane i might use that my self

nope i asked him all ready i even asked ScottieJ he told me to ask him and he said "Unfortunately, I don’t have a dual alt bracket for your van". so that sucks scottiej said no mechman said no excessive amperage said no ..... idk what else to do beside try my self i guess haha

thats original what i was thinking but i dont know if that word either ...... this is the only part i ever have trouble with lol stupid alternators .... but i also thought of, is where them 2 holes are if i could mount a tensioner and do away with the tension to the right of it and put the alt there kinda like yours but idk what be the best/ easiest i deff need to cram 2 in here tho! lol thanks man

hmm well i think that might work like that ^ but there is a tensioner in place of where your 2nd alt is. also ed i got time man when ever you wanna have a swing at it let me know i got a grage too but idk ifi got all the tools you need wheni get it up and running again we will have to meet up. i got the hole dash out and i amp fixin it up a bit. assman if you dont mind post em any way just for looks lol. thanks for all the help guys got me thinking now
