  1. Nice for a single woofer system. You're cam sounds good at picking up the bass line too. what kinda car is that? is your system in the trunk?
  2. Maybe using similar design as found on break line of BMX bikes. You know how you can spin the handle bar as much as you want and nothing gets tangled. Juz maybe?
  3. Well after getting done washing my car, I took a short vid of the system I juz put back 2gether after puting dynamat. car really sounds quiet outside now but bangin inside and less rattling. My cam sucks though, its one of those entry-level sony. Mic doesn't pickup the bass and it makes it sound like my subs are distorting, but they ain't, and it also makes my mids/highs sound thin. Playing "welcom back" from the new jeezy album.
  4. after seeing the current set up from the pic...I would suggest trying to mess with diff boxes and amp/eq set-up. That sub is one of the best sounding out there with the right set-up. I've heard them before in person and thought they were amazing. I currently have two D6 12's and they are bangin and sound great with any type of music. Sound very clean, tight, and loud. They are very quick and at the same time well controled. I would assume D9's are better than D6's.
  5. That's a pretty cool way to tap into the fusebox. Does autozone or any other local car parts supplier carry this? cuz i really don't have time to order this online. i need to pick this up tom.
  6. Cool....that's what i wanna clear-out. Now i imma take a look at his manual to figureout the fusebox layout. THAnks guys.
  7. Oh ok. But I kinda want to have the amps turn off automatically when he shuts off the car. Cuz he'll probably forget to turn-off the amp and that would drain the batt.
  8. As far as for signal...i'm juz using an LOC to tap in the rear speaker wires. I juz not sure about the remote turn on wire.
  9. I'm about to hookup my old system (juz a mono amp and a single orion 12) to my brother's new car, a 2008 Accord. He has stock HU, which i dont want to mess with. My question are: -where is the best place for me to hook up the remote wire while minimizing any modification to the vehicle's electrical? -Can I juz hook it up somewhere in the fuse box? If yes...where? and how, juz trap the wire with one of the fuses? I've installed amps before but only to a car with an aftermarket HU and a remote wire output. Although my current car, my remote wire is hooked up to the ignition, my friend hooked this up for me. Plust I really do not want to mess with my brother's ignition harness anyway. Thank you guys in advance.
  10. I bet the customer was happy. Very clean install...nice choices of equipment. I wanna do something similar to my car in the future. Not juz go for the sound but also the looks. Good Job! Mabuhay!
  11. I"M sorry! I posted this at the wrong forum. My bad.
  12. is bolting down your box necessary if its in a trunk of a car or only in SUV's, vans, and hatch?
  13. MDF is too damn heavy man. What are some alternate materials that would be good for building a box? I heard about birch, is this lighter?
