  1. when my cars at an idle. my subs make a humming noise. but when i move the level knob all the way down it stops. even half way it still does it. is it a bad ground?
  2. check out the Hifonics BRZ series. its CEA certified, it does rated power. i have the 2100.1d and its a lot better
  3. Im running a hifonics 2100.1d got it hooked up to 2 ohms. which does 1400
  4. i have all the stock wiring still hooked up as well, i just added the 4 gauge
  5. i did the big 3 in 4 gauge wire. (for now) until i get 0 gauge. when i did it, i hooked my engine ground to my negative terminal on the battery. is that bad? cuz ive seen that its supposed to go engine to chassis, but isnt the negative pretty much a ground anyway?
  6. bout to order some 1/0 gauge from them. pretty sure i saved a good 30 bucks using them
  7. the left one is a remote. and when i wired the subs originally. my other amp had only one set of speaker inputs. theyre hooked up in parallel. to 2 ohms.
  8. my problem was that my gas tanks is right under the trunk. i do have a spot where my spare tire was though. i could put something over that and screw it down
  9. should i take it off and make a different one? the amp was just layin on the trunk. and i didnt want it in the jumpin around when i hit bumps. what should i do with it?

  11. new amp mount. attached to my box. not that great, but i think it looks pretty good for my first one. let me know what you guys think that i could improve on in future ones.
  12. so a 200 amp ANL fuse will work with the 0 gauge wire? do recommend a second battery or an optima yellow top?

  14. so an inline fuse is the fuse thats between the battery and the amp?

  16. i have a hifonics BRZ 2100.1d coming. i have all the wiring from a previous amp i had still hooked up. what im thinking i might need is a new fuse from my battery to the amp. the amp i did have had 1 25 amp fuse. and this new one has a 200 amp fuse. so what fuse would i need for the new one? thanks for any help
  17. how many watts can the HDC3 take? i heard around 2000 RMS for the 15. and im putting them in the trunk of an 86 monte carlo. its a fairly big trunk. but im not sure what the airspace would have to be
  18. I plan on running it or them off of a Hifonics BRZ1700.1d (supposed to be 1700 watts RMS.)
