  1. Quick question would you guys run t1000bdcp or t15001bdcp on a single T2 15" there rated at 1200rms?
  2. Well it looks like I might be able to pick up a brand new T2 15 for 200 bucks so I might be going that route.
  3. I've been kinda set on the first setup but I just don't know if it'll move enough air for me anymore, I'm starting to get used to louder and louder systems.
  4. I've had mine now for over a month and its one of the coolest little meters i've played with.
  5. These setups are listed in order of least expensive to most expensive keep that in mind too....
  6. OK I have a 2007 scion Tc. My previous setup was all kicker when I was working at circuit city 4 years ago. I had kicker zx1500.1 and zx650.4 running two cvx 12s sealed, and I had two sets of kicker 6.5" SS components. I have the full kicker 0 gauge wiring kit, big 3, and kinetik 1400 battery in the rear. needless to say I was happy with the setup but it got stolen. I need to re-do this car and my options are only Rockford Fosgate merchandise due to my deep discounts. Setups I have in mind in order from most likely to happen to least are: -T15001bdcp,T600.4,two T1D412's Ported -T15001bdcp,T600.4, one T2D215 ported -T25001bdcp,T1000.4, four T1D212's sealed and some more speakers maybe *" woofers in the doors and a few 6.5" component sets also would some extensive electrical upgrades more batteries alternator etc. -Audioque35001d,T1000.4, two TC sounds AXIS 12"s ported I listen to rock and rap and I'm also kinda of steering away from the 4 12's just due the weight factor daily driving ability and not wanted to get involved in all the electrical upgrades.Just give me some input on what you guys think.
  7. Overall this setup sounds great, I was really surprised at the sound quality. The total output/spl factor is a little lower than I would like but I'll have to play around with tuning some more later. I was kinda nervous to crank the woofers because they are going to bottom way before I smoke a coil in this configuration.
  8. Alright got everything wrapped up here are some final shots I'll get some more detailed ones later.
  9. Alright if all goes well tomorrow I should be wrapping up the project, possibly trying for a shot at system of the month.
  10. Okay so I re-carpeted the rear panel in black trunk carpet instead of gray. Woofers and grills came in today!!! Floor panels cut out. Second battery all wired up.
  11. Battery in and coat of fiberglass resin applied to both sides to bond everything together and seal all the panels
  12. The wall about 85 percent sealed today. here's some pics. First picture is of where the fuel pump module used to be hanging and then the second is where I relocated it to. Here is the t15001 in place for mock-up. Here is one of the barriers I built out of tape to foam in the quarter panels and keep the foam under control. Here you can see the small board at the bottom and board on the side to hold the next face in. Foam and some light bondo. Battery box for kinetik HC800 battery mounted down set for 7" mounting depth. http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae303/craracer05/fc24fbf9.jpg Wall with a layer of 1/4' foam to get an overall look before I fiberglass the the whole face and put the fabric on.
  13. Already fiberglassed I'll get more pictures up tonight. Worst comes to worse ill donw grade rockford marine speakers that are designed for IB setups. I work for an authorized rockford dealer doubt he would just make it up. Not trying to argue with you jsut have to try it and see how it works.
  14. Rockford tech told me in person that p3's work well in infinite baffle set-ups and reccomended me to try them and see for myself...so here we go.
  15. Theres nothing to port its infinte baffle trunk is the box. Even with three tens the the left over trunk volume is bigger than the total Vas of the 3 subs, hence infinite baffle.
  16. Baffles all screwed and glued in used an angle finder to keep the faces at the same angle on each side. Bottom face mount glued and stapled to the face screwed down into wooden floor.Used PL400 sub floor adhesice If you haven;t used it you should try it, it doesn't let go!!!! Left side panel pressure fit in for the moment. Right side.
  17. New wires ran. Panels cut. Upper mounting flange. Panels routed and mocked up.
  18. I started this build a few weeks ago on my fiance's 02 mustang convertible, I am about 90% done right now. I have the build up on another forum so i thought I would put it up on SMD and try a shot a SOTM for august. Setup consists of Pioneer dehp6800mp head unit, Rockford fosgate T15001bd on subs, T4004 on the highs, connected by a monster cable sub only RCA and stinger 4ch rca. Power Wire is Rockford 4 guage from the front interstate battery all the way back to a Kinetik KHC800 sencond battery in the trunk. Highs I'm running JBL GTO8608C 6x8 components in the front and JBL GTO608C 6.5" components in the rear. Subs consist of three Rockford Fosgate P310D2's. Also wired up a Big 3 aswell.
  19. I have one in my jeep its a decent little amp. I even had one wired down to 1ohm and you could cook eggs on it but it never shut off. The prime 1000 on the other hand is a complete turd.
