Have a question on the power handling of the sub how much can you run to it b4 you blow it??

Okay i am only doing a one sub setup with a 10 for now in the next couple of months should be upgrading.. How much would it be for one 10" Lvl 4 and the 2k? thats all i need to know...

ya no i dont have to have that much power of course... just wanting to get a feel for everything how much they usually cost.

About how much would it cost for all this? Like the two xl 10's and the 5 k and everything so i know how much i have to save up? The cost of EVERYTHING i would need the upgraded wires the alt the batteries and whatever else the amp and the subs of course.

Well at the moment all im doing is gettin prices.... Might try to get a 10''XL asap but i think tens would be my best bet as well cause im also using the trunk and the 15 wouldnt be until later.... cause i got to get my own car to be able to know what i wanna do... David what all do you have for electrical and everything so i know what all i need??

yea i hit 134 with a alright sub and the box is way to big got another one on the way my old box was 2 cubes new one is 1.4cubes hopin that will improve my current system.. What all are you running? That is very impressive to good job.... Is there any tips you have on gettin a lil more out of it..

Yea they are but I think i finally want to step up to the bigger subs been using tens and 12's for like the past 4 or 5 years.. idk though i just wanna be able to hit at least 145dbs or 150 if possible not for a daily system but i wanna be able to produce those types of numbers and its a lil more difficult to do that with a couple tens instead of a 15 or so... So if anyone has ideas on a good system let me know.. And if anybody could tell me how much i would need to be able to do a whole upgrade including Sub,amp,wires,etc...

Looking to upgrade here sometime been really seeing alot of crazy stuff from dc. Want to get my own dc subs now... What all would i want as well to be able to run the dc 2K Amp how many batterys and such... And if possible a price on the amp would be great. Thank everyone This website is so amazing

i might but ya that amp is nice nice cant wait to get it,then big 3,then box,and more. Thanks for the help though its very nice to have people who kno wat they r doing help.

And ya i think i will make my own custom box but this was the best premade one i found at the time. And that amp shouldnt kill the electrical much right till i get to do the big three and everything but big 3 on the top of my list.

and no the amp i have now still works will be sellin it for money for a better amp

the port is 16 and a half inches long by 11 and a half wide. To the back of the box is 25 and half inches

wasnt trying to change the box i put 2 subs in it one really crappy it got down and upgraded to the type r and it kills it 134 on tl so far off that small amp. if you guys find something better i will probably get it its just hard with that budget. i dont wanna be able to blow the sub and it to be alot louder than this small amp is puttin out

and ya i get what your sayin SuperchargedDC's but its loud now with that crappy jensen amp that does 450rms and this one is all i can afford so... im stuck till i get a job

ya that is my current amp and at the moment im completely broke im sellin my current amp for 120 thats where im getting the money to get the new one.. But it would be a upgrade though right
