ive used hifonics, the amp i ahd was awesome, i used to have the Hifonics BXI 1610D(monoblock), on 2 10" L5's and i never had any problems with it, so id go hifonics, how much is the hifonics? bc i found it on sale for $412.00.

like when i had my kicker hooked up i was usin an 8ga power and ground, so it when i would turn my radio up loud it pulled so much it made the amp shut off and come back on, so i had to go to a 4ga, when it does that its clipping

oh, ok then, well then it aint clippin, juss make sure your ground is on bare metal

what ga. power wire and ground are you usin?

compared to a type r, the kicker aint shit man, i had a 10" kicker and then went to 2 10" type r's, way better! , id definetly go with the type r's.

i had to fix a friends 18" jl i dnt remember which one it was but it was doin the same thing, i juss put a lil caulkin on and it worked fine and it aint broke apart or separated since.
