Wait...what do you mean full tune the amp? Either it's set correctly, or it isn't.

i'm guessing they meant if you just crank the gain knob it isn't covered. Shouldn't be any reason full power will hurt them right out of the box.
oh yeah, and vids!! pics!! and, well you get the idea.
hopping my box guy be their monday to build the boxes suppose done them saturday but he was out of town.and thats with tune amp right,the subs are stiff as hell.

Eh, I had my SA's wanging full tilt minutes after I got them installed. No problems.
these are the sd-2 line and plus they told me if I do turn them up and something happen it want be cover.I'm doing it for the safe side of it.

Turn them up now they are ready right out the box. You will be surprised how durable and loud they are. I loved mine but after a year it was time for me to step up to a sa-15. Good choice and good luck.
na they told me give them a month then turn them up I didn't get the boxes build the guy was out of town but monday they be built.

I'm planning a rebuild to I'm thinking of 2 sd-2 10d4 in 2 seal boxes or 1 sd-2 12d2 or d4 it depends if the 12 can handle 750rms in a ported box the amp is the rf t1000bd
I'm running 2 SD-2 12's (D4) in a sealed box. I dont know if they need more power or the box is to small..
Im running them at 4 ohms on a SQ-1200d, so 510w and they sound like my old set up. which was 2 p1s on a sony xplod 1400w amp. it kinda pisses me off that i spent 600 bucks and it sounds like shit. The only positive thing is my lights dont dim now.
I want to build a new box once it gets warmer. Sealed, but bigger. Or ported. Trucks a single cab so i dont have any room at all.
I really want to know if i can run them at 1ohm, 1000 watts and be okay. Will it give more bass? or is it just using way more power.?
your box to small each sub needs 1 cubic feet sealed thats the reason I want to run 2 sd-2 10d4 in .6-.7 cubic feet each or 1 sd-2 12d4 in a ported box about 1.2-1.3 cubic feet

im looking for 97 dakota drop kit like a 3/3 or 3/4 drop lower control arms for the front and leaf spring or shackle for the back only willing to paid $200 for hole kit.

update new clear erou headlights 8000k hi/lo hid ac kit and new bumber painted all white
some updates on the truck djm 3in control arms and western chassis 4-5in hangers
audio update got a rf t1000bd the older model -

love the car and rims but the rims a little to big for my taste for this type of car but over the car looks good.Man 5k damn I've seen middle school do better then this but now its your your hands I know it'll look good and sound good.
