  1. Rebooted computer and wireless network and all is working fine now, sorry for the useless thread guys !!!
  2. wonder what would cause this ? i can access them from my phone but not my computer ? Weird ??
  3. Thats really strange, i cant get on them on any of my computers, only those sites, obviously this one works, hum ?
  4. I was just wandering what happened to the other car audio sites, CACO, ROE, DIYMA, all are down, in fact my browser is giving me that the domain names don't even exist and may be for sale. Does anyone know what's up ???
  5. Im having the same problem, i would like to buy some t-shirts but theres nothing on that site ?????
  6. Thanks man, yeah i think CACO is having some server problems today but i will keep looking on there for baskets and motors, you got two 12 spoke 12" baskets for 40 bucks shipped ???
  7. ok guys ive basically decided on the 12 spoke basket from one of the above sites but im still having an extreme amount of trouble finding motors for them !! Does anone know of a place other than CACO to find motors for these ?? I know that alot of different manufacturer's used these baskets and they accept many different motors and i would love to find some tc9 motors but im not having any luck finding anything, plus im only wanting a sub that can handle like 600 watts Rms so i dont need something as huge as the tc9's !! Please help !!!!!
  8. Thinking about ordering the 12 spoke psi or robot underground basket, seems like these are the most popular as far as parts that fit them. http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item335d6c8799 http://fixmyspeaker....ails.php?pid=17 I think im right here ??? At least until i can get back on CACO and maybe get a better deal but these are the type im looking at.
  9. Sweet !! That should fit well into my 65 dollar a week budget !! Thanks !!!
  10. ^^^^ this this is how i build my subs bought motor and basket from caco then got a recone from fi Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the motor and the basket ??
  11. Thats cool, looks like caco is down right now but i will keep looking. I found a cool sub built by psi that i liked well and it was using a lightning audio basket and tc9 motor . Just wish i new where to get these !!!
  12. Well thats what i was wanting to do is start with a motor and a basket but i cant find anything, just one basket at psi and havent found any motors yet. The basket for a 12 was only like 40 bucks with shipping and with a price like that i could order a piece for it every week or so and build a decent sub within my 65 dollar a week budget. Just cant find a good resource for parts yet !! coils and spiders but not much else so far.
  13. Well i guess one reason is my budget, i could gather the pieces easier on my 65 dollar a week budget than buying a pre-assembled sub but i would also just enjoy the process of assembling my own sub, plus the pride of running subs i built myself !!
  14. Ive looked at these sites and i have yet to see very many choices of different parts, only one or two different baskets and about the same on the other parts , only a few to choose from. I was looking to build something a little more personal but maybe t here arent a lot of different parts to choose from when building a sub or im just not finding them yet !!
  15. cool, how about any personal suggestions of baskets cones motors coils and etc. ?? looking to build a moderate custom sub to handle about 1000 watts rms
  16. I was wanting to find out where i would go to find parts like baskets, motors , coils, cones, etc. that i could buy and gather pieces to build my own 12" Sub woofer ??? Is there a single web-site that has these parts or can you suggest a few different sites etc. ?? Also any articles or how-to's would be great helps also. Looking for a side project that i could be working on a piecing together in times where i cant get out to the shop or something to work on in bad weather or such > Thanks !!
  17. I have a Micro-ATX Motherboard in my spare computer and want to build a carputer with it, can some of you guys that have built one me give me some pointer or ideas ?? I have been on MP3car.com and got a lot of info but like to hear from some car audio guys on this !!!
  18. Thanks man, cant wait to get them on an Amp !!
  19. Yeah you can probably make that one work and props to you Luis_BFD for hookin the man up free of charge !! I found my connector inside an old computer, i think it went to the front panel where all the usb and and sd card plug-ins are at.
  20. Its a 100 watt amp that will be powering the Tang Bands in my A-pillars they are 10 watts RMS/ 20 watts MAX
  21. I dont use the glove box anyway so thats not a consideration , and it would actually get some cool air if i mount the fan just right so it pulls cabin air from the back side of the glove box when it is closed. Thanks guys !! This is part of the inspiration , where he mounted a car-puter under the airbag cover in his dash;
  22. Is it possible to mount just the internals of a small 100 watt amp in my glove box ?? there will be nothing else in the glove box with it other than a small fan. Would it be safe , regardless of would it be smart, just would it be safe too ? It should work just fine. ----A horrible pic, but you get the idea !! I always like to do something a little different and since this is such a small amp especially disassembled, i thought it would look awesome mounting just the internals since it all comes apart well and i would have the fan on it and maybe so some cool lighting to showcase it when you open the glove box !!
  23. I agree that would be the best idea in a perfect world but , i also have some pods im making for a customer and it would really speed up the process of i could find a resource on the internet or something where i could get these dimensions ?? Thanks guys !!
  24. Does anyone know what the actual cut-out diameter of a 6.5 speaker is ?? I am building my rear deck and i haven't got my 6.5's for the build yet but i am in the process of doing all the fab work and need to cut out the wooden rings the 6.5's will be housed in but everywhere i look it has the mounting info but not the actual size that i need to make the hole that the speaker will sit in . Thanks, i know this is a kinda general question but most 6.5's are the same size so . . .I have saw the pre-cut rings on Ebay but rather keep the price down and do them myself and they dont tell what the actual inside hole size is either !!
