    After 20 years of industry leading quality and customer service we've re-branded our logo, Dealer Programs, Rewards Program, and Team Second Skin affiliation. Check out our new videos on YouTube, give us a like, share, and subscribe. 

     

    For all of you SMD forum members who have been insisting on Second Skin for your builds over the past 2 decades we've got goodies for you.   19. Custom laser cut muti-layer acrylic sign for Secondskin and West Coast Customs new roller coaster

I am not sure what they did, maybe they will come in and explain...but all i know is they needed a nice little 14"x10" sign to set up with the display.  I THINK people who walk by it in line will all see it  :D .  Well of course I said of course! He didn’t really know what exactly he wanted and gave me the go ahead to be creative.  I didn't just want to put his logo in it, i thought it might be cool to "ghost" in the Second Skin logo (and pattern) like the Damplifier Pro has on it.  This thing ended up being MULTIPLE layers.

     

    The backstory here is that West Coast Customs asked a handful of their partners to send them products so they could display them in the roller coaster's waiting area. They did all the heavy lifting - thousands of hours working with Six Flags and the roller coaster design firm. We just hopped in at the end with some products and good times at the grand opening last week.

     

    But we knew that the roller coaster was going to get 1000+ people every day, so we needed to get our display looking right. I reached out to Steve to see if he'd be interested in making a basic little sign for us using one of his CAD machines. Of course, Steve doesn't do anything basic. 🤣 He goes way over the top and makes the most badass sign I've ever seen. It's not even a sign really - more like art.

     

    Thanks Steve!! Completely blew me, the team at Second Skin, and everyone I've shown it to away.

    Just got an invite and booked our trip to the West Coast Racers World Premiere VIP Party at Six Flags Magic Mountain tomorrow.
