  1. I will close this thread when they are gone -- so I still have some.
  2. A HUGE ONE -- Derrick made the box so he can tell you
  3. Thanks It is also a shorting ring / heat-sink so it is very functional!
  4. The double leads can make a slight tapping sound right near the cone -- may not be noticeable in a box... but I hear it testing them free air so I added the pads.
  5. Yes and yes -- there is another sticky post with shirts.
  6. Nope - they don't blow easily at all... I've had 2600 from one on 18v with no fuse popping.
  7. Got a pair built to ship to a customer... Customized with double leads, 3 spiders, and a Nightshade cone. Specs as follows with a few minutes break-in : RE: 1.84 ohms FS: 37.87 Hz Qes: 0.531 Qms: 7.56 Qts: 0.496 Le: 1.30 mH Vas: 45.9 L BL: 16.73 NA Cms: 52.21 uM/N Mms: 338 grams Sens: 88.56 1w/1m NS cone + Double leads add about 80 grams MMS compared to the Z v.2 cone with single leads. The added mass got the Fs down and Qts up a bit -- which will be quite suitable for the 4th order band-pass the customer wants to use.
  8. Hey guys, We are back-logged for a bit on woofer building here. The Z v.2 shipment landed last week and we have been SLAMMED ever since. We also sold the last stack of BM 10s to a customer and have been working to get those out to him. So... expect a bit longer lead time to get a sub if you order one we have to build. I plan to work late this week to catch up as fast as possible.
  9. I would not be surprised to see them sell out again... so if you want one make sure to get the order in as soon as you can.
  10. PRE-SALE ORDERS ARE FINAL - THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS -- If you are not 100% sure you will be financially stable then don't pre-order. THESE WILL NOT BE IN UNTIL AROUND the end of April to early May. DO NOT pre-order if you are in a rush or on a dead-line -- as always there can be delays with pre-orders. Just want that to be clear. --- PRICING: $1200 each SHIPPED in the continental USA TO ORDER - Paypal me @ [email protected] Regular price is $1549 MAP / $2149 MSRP. --- Rated Power : 4500 x 1 @ 1 ohm 2000 x 1 @ 2 ohms 900 x 1 @ 4 ohms TEST RESULTS: 3100 Watts @ 1 ohm nominal rising to 2.67 ohms on 14.4v dropping to 13.6 volts 4650 Wats @ 0.25 ohm nominal rising to 0.71 ohms on 14.4v dropping to 11.6 volts You will get more with a beefier electrical setup. 5290 Watts @ 1 ohm nominal rising to 2.12 ohms on 17.9 volts (did not measure drop) 6930 Watts @ 0.5 ohm nominal rising to 1.31 ohms on 17.9 volts (did not measure drop) ---

  12. It is the only one that we stock and sell, yes.
  13. Maybe if you bypassed the fuses... it is not intended for that sort of power and the fusing is sized for that reason. Fusing will pop in the 1700-1800 watt area.
  14. I generally do not allow local pick-up for security reasons.
  15. Same box there is no way that four of these can beat four Type-R 12s (you have 225% more cone area) -- if the Type-Rs were sealed and the SA-8s ported then you may be able to do it.
  16. In the mean time I am copying and pasting EVERY email I sent all day (ALOT) into Hotmail and resending... my apology if I send any of them twice!
  17. Every message I sent today was rejected by my server... just got all of the errors all at once at the end of the day. Something is up and they seem to think I sent over 100 e-mails in one hour... so until I can figure out what is going on it may take me longer than normal to reply. I can still RECEIVE emails no problem, though, so you can still send me a message... but this problem seems to have made email not work on my Blackberry as well and I have to log into my Hotmail to send any messages... so response time will be up. Sorry guys... working with the hosting company on this.
  18. Eric, If I had to guess I'd say over half the people that own 1500s run them at 0.5 daily -- whether I endorse it or not -- your electrical sounds good... so your chances of problems are low.
  19. Oh yah... D1 coils just arrived. So we can build 12s, 15s, and 18s now in D1 or D2. 10" frames are not in yet.
  20. You can always email me for information.
  21. Not those exact ones but I have a few.
  22. You can order from an online dealer if you like. If you DO NOT have a local dealer you could also order from me. Contact me and I will check if you have a local dealer.
