  1. I don't know about Ron's but mine was 6 cubes tuned to 42 hz on paper -- with it's actual orientation in the Jeep tuning was in fact in the 30s and my box peaked at 47 Hz (actual Jeep peak is 53 hz but the low tuning drug it down to 47 Hz). 3x 6" Aero-Ports
  2. Since I've already had the "just because it's a CRX" comment on another forum here are some pictures and results of 4x SA-12s in my Jeep : We caught a slightly lower 154.3 score on video at a different show : And the score with two 1500Ds :
  3. We sell re-cones for them and they are very affordable -- 30 bucks + SH.
  4. From original post : "Recently I purchased (4)SA10"s from Jacob and the said subs are intended for a daily music and bassrace set-up. Out of curiosity I build a spl box for it first before even moving on to my original plans for this subs. And here are some of the details I wanted to share to everyone . . . . (4) SA10"s - D2 (1) Batcap (1) SD8kD amp BUILDS : (4) SA10"s (D2) RESULTS 1 : Car off and batcap get charged in between burps RESULTS 2 : Car off and batcap is on a charger at burp "

  6. The sound in the video is REALLY annoying as it was distorting the camera mic pretty badly being so close - I'd suggest turning the sound down and just looking at the meters if you decide to watch the whole thing.
  7. It passed our brutal 5 minute 60 Hz thermal test at ~2000-watts clamped power (it floats around this number... as we have to adjust the rig as coil heats to try and keep power as close to 2kw as possible). We even put the coils on a DMM at the end of the video. So... without a doubt the NS v.2 will take MUCH more than it's rated power on music thermally having passed this 60 hz torture test where limited coil movement severely limits coil cooling.
  8. I don't know - I haven't seen a CVR-15 in person in it's newest form.
  9. It will be over when we either are running low on inventory or shortly before the arrive - whatever comes first. Those amps should be fine.
  10. 2.3 each sealed is still fine. Mounting depth is ~7.5"
  11. If it's been a while (over a week) and you haven't gotten a reply it would be fine to re-send your message... this will get it fresh on my list!
  12. Hey guys, Got backed up a bit on emails again around the beginning of August... some emails from earlier in the month and scattered throughout up until now have not been read yet. I will get to them ASAP -- sorry for the delay! We've had alot of work to do this month... looking to be another record month for us -- so thanks to all of our customers for the support and patience on emails
  13. 6 cubes for a pair is suggested -- could go a bit smaller if needed.

  16. I really don't have any plans for a v.2 yet -- that is saying something as I always have a v.2 in the works I have slowly tweaked them as time has progressed, though

Subwoofer: One Sa-12 all testing done using the midwest spl format, meter on dash with window open, my car typically loses.4-.5 by sealing it up. also the subwoofer was brand new out of the box when i started these tests, i did the tests in the order they are listed. back to back about 2 minutes between burps. testing results: 144.8 db @ 42hz on 550 watts 146.1 db @ 42 hz on 906 watts 147.3 db @ 42 hz on 1550 watts 147.2 db @ 42 hz on 1760 watts 146.0 @ thug motivation song on 1360 watts subwoofer must have peaked out at around 1500 watts in this enclosure, but im very impressed with this as the best my BTL can do on 1900 watts was a 148.3 officially this same day. sorry no pics or videos, i was with a shop owner trying to get him to pick up sundown in his shop. might have convinced him its a very nice product! i will try to get some pics of the TL readout as well as some videos tomorrow or tuesday. Thanks for your time, Anton Miller ---------- its a very nice sub! i wouldnt want to go over 900 watts for too long on music, i had it going at 1300 watts for a while there and the coils got a little stinky, but nothing too bad... plus thing box is f'n huge for this sub, just a good comparison vrs a BTL. 18. Pretty cool SA series are surprisingly tough "little" woofers !
  19. Coincidence - I didn't know that at all *laughs*
  20. On music on a 3500D @ 1 ohm we didn't drop under 14.1 volts -- not bad at all !
  21. 4 and 9/16" mounting depth... almost forgot.
