    Did some power clamping today with my new True Power (kW) meter: +1 sub control = 151.3 dB / 2750 watts +5 sub control = 153.9 dB / 7360 watts +7 sub control = 154.1 dB / 8900 watts +9 sub control = 154.3 dB / 9180 watts These are not peak - these are actual True Power figures. Have to hold it for ~5 seconds to get a reading on the meter too. I was just messing around with my new toy and didn't take it up to my highest score - but you get the idea smile.gif Total power between the two amps, by the way. Rise to 0.87 ohms per amp.

    Not off hand - expecting to blow some ? It isn't going to be incredibly easy to do so. I'll let you know when I figure out cost for re-cones, should be under 100.

    Best we could get with two amps and a charge all night long on the batteries. Tried four amps: * Three amps back here, one under the other on the rack. * Wire mess of epic proportions We did NOT gain from four amps. The amps were at double the impedance of before and I know my battery bank is not enough for all four... BUT I think the sub just completely ran out of excursion, it is MOVING. We did not damage the sub at all with four full volume burps on four amps, though

    We did some tweaking here and got a bit higher but not consistently. I suppose the next step is more power - may try two more amps soon.
