  1. They are little monsters for sure... I'm anxious to see some big builds with them
  2. As for updates -- I will post them when available
  3. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/117044-neopro-65-8-and-10-response-graphs/ Response is solid to ~4-5k on the whole line.
  4. That isn't all of the motors We'll also be ramping up another run of them soon as I expect these to be a pretty hot seller.
  5. As they were just loaded up this week we are expecting them in ~30 days. I am not planning to do any pre-ordering as we are backed up enough on built products as-is but they will be available soon
  6. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/113556-sundown-sd-2-500-watt-line-pre-order-open/ We have depth, power handling, specs, and test videos all in there
  7. Some production shots from the factory before they were loaded up : ---------- SD-2 10" ---------- SD-2 12" ---------- You will note these have 16 vent holes in the frame vs. 12 on the prototypes and the surround is stitched on -- the surround material is also an upgraded material. Otherwise the cone / spider / frame are equal to the SA line. The motor and coil shrank down a bit -- so you can think of the SD-2 like a "mini-SA" line.
  8. Some pics of a few pallets of our Z v.3 motors at the factory before magnet boots are put on : * Similar style cap to newest SA series. * Large rear flare applied like newest SA series.
  9. ETA was pushed back a bit from initial estimate -- received e-mail notification this morning of an ETA at our shop around 10/24/11 -- so keep that in mind !
  10. Of course they are improved over the v.1 model. They are 2000 RMS
  11. First shipment is rolling in about a 5-6 weeks... all of them are sold to Team and dealers.
  12. Tones are often recorded at a higher level; eg: more RCA voltage going to the amp.
  13. Adjust the gain -- DMM method doesn't work very well, IMO. If you have NO voltage drop you aren't getting much power. The 4th order probably has a nice box rise across most of the bandwidth as well.
  14. Some of you have called and had a "new" guy answer in the last week -- Nick is now answering phones for part of the day here at Sundown. You can talk to him about most of your questions -- if he doesn't have the answer you can leave a message and Brandon or I can e-mail you back from the message but please at least leave a brief message for us. I am often not here @ the shop all the time now due to other projects so we are getting a bit more help around here!
  15. EDIT 8/30/11 : WE CANNOT WARRANTY DIY RE-CONE ASSEMBLY ISSUES. Read and understand this -- if you are not 110% sure about re-coning the driver ask us or send it in. We can only stand behind labor that we perform. Manufacturing defects in the kit itself are of course our responsibility but installation is 100% the customer responsibility. Thanks for the understanding.
  16. Yes, Terri is our friend doing the Ride.
  17. Contact Chris; I think he may still be running the sale price -- perhaps a site glitch.
  18. We will be running a raffle for an Obsidian Audio 15D2 and a Sundown Audio SAX-1200D in order to benefit the National MS Society Bike Ride Event. For every $5 donated your name will be entered into the raffle one time. For instance, if you donate $50 you will get ten entries for the raffle. If/When you send a donation please note with your donation "Sundown Audio" so we will know who has donated in order to enter the raffle. To donate / participate in the raffle click the following link : National MS Society - Bike Event: Our friend Terri Latimer is participating in this ride to benefit Nick Lemons; another personal friend / business associate of mine. Many of you may recognize Nick from the forums as "Electrodynamic" -- the owner of Stereo Integrity and part owner / sub designer for Obsidian Audio. So here is a good chance to benefit MS research while also getting a chance to win an awesome car audio bass package. We will be doing the drawing for the winner of the raffle on September 19th after the ride (which is itself on September 17th). *added 08/29/2011* In addition to the above items, the raffle now additionally contains a Sundown Audio 125.2 and two Sundown Audio neo pro 8" woofers. That's right, the entire lot now contains the following: 1) Obsidian Audio 15" D2 subwoofer 1) Sundown Audio 1200D amplifier 1) Sundown Audio 125.2 amplifier 2) Sundown Audio 8" Neo Pro woofers
  19. Currently no refurbished 4500s are available.
