  1. What if the new 0 gauge wire is made up of a really cheap metal?! What brand is the cable and where did you get it from?

Its Knu wire. Also have Monster 400 series in there.. which is such a pain in the ass because it doesnt flex at all.. The Knu wire i bought from someone on this forum, so im wondering if its bad.

Hmm, I never heard of Knu LOL but if you know forsure you didn't do nothing else, that could be it! Why don't you hook up the original wire you had before to see if that makes the sound better.

    No no no no no....

Knu wire is thick as shit and a well respected brand at a good price.

Just based on what you have told us, your videos, and all the information that as been posted, I think it's your amp.

There is Kno (see what I did there, lol) way in hell that it's the Knukoncepts wire you have that is causing your problem, lol.

Hahaha true, now I know :)

  3. Hi, does anyone know if I can do this with my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan? I'm sure its possible and I've already ordered my diodes but it's nice to have some confirmation. Does anyone know specifically what wires I should splice up? I'm thinking it's most likely the wire that's not red or black.

These are the diodes I ordered. Are the the right ones? -

I'm doing this mod because my vans electrical system on a cold start produces high 13V's sometimes 14.1V. After some time of driving it'll go to mid 13's. With my stereo, the voltage sometimes drops to 11.9V with the engine running!

  4. If its the wire going from a front batt to the amp in the rear then the fuse should be near the battery. However in the op's case i believe his batt is in the trunk with his amps and if so i would just fuse it right before the amp.

Ok I what if the battery is under the back seat? My car's battery is under the rear seat. Is it still ok? Also, I used my full length of wire instead of cutting it so around 17 ft of 0 gauge wire from the back seat to the trunk LOL

In that case i would ground it right at the battery since you have all that wire floating around. Dont want to take a chance of it getting cut and shorting out on your body.

    Alright fair enough. Thanks!
