  1. sweet thanks i am hoping to get one thats 100WRMS 4ohms
  2. http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Midbass-Speakers/NEW-CADENCE-FX8M4-8-250-WATT-CAR-MID-BASS-SPEAKER/FX8M4.aspx this any good, looking to not spend alot? would this do a good job?
  3. http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Midbass-Speakers/NEW-CADENCE-FX8M4-8-250-WATT-CAR-MID-BASS-SPEAKER/FX8M4.aspx how would this speaker work? it would be getting 25Watts under rated wired to 2 ohms ? what you think
  4. yes this is running off a 4chan amp and the front channeles are being used by the front speakers i only have the 2 rear channels open, if i was ton only get 2 8" midbass drivers i could prolly spend around 100 for each but the cheaper the better, i was going to get 2 8" midbass drivers that are around 100WRMS 4ohms and wire them in parallel bridged to the rears also if i can get away with and if cheaper i would do 2x 6.5 midbass drivers but i think 8s would look cooler behind the seats.
  5. make sure the surface is nice and clean then before you lay wipe it down with alcohol, some say to use a micro fiber cloth with the alcohol but im sure any ole cloth will do
  6. whats a good but cheap 8" midbass woofer, looking for it to be 4ohms 50watts RMS or 100WATTS RMS
  7. You know a good 6.5 or 8 inch midbass woofers?? My amp does 50watts each channel 4 ohms 100 watts 2 ohm 200 bridged I am think that's what ill do is midbass behind seats, Caqnt get pics now everything is out of car for sound deadner and finally rewireing battery in trunk all the wire I had was shitty 0 gauge that was actually smaller than my rockford 4gauge and only cca, I guess when you pay 15 dollars for a 25 ft spool lol Thank you x99999999 for all your help it really means alot
  8. That's one of my pictures before I put the baffle on the box it goes across whole back
  9. that was along time ago, I'm gona finish this build and have only subs in the back for now won't use rear channel once I get it done and have pics ill see what I can do with rear channel In all honesty as you might already realize I'm an idiot when it comes to speaker placement ect.
  10. The sub box is where the back seat was, baffle goes all the way across the back behind front seats I used to have 2 6x9 that sat behind the front seats angled up
  11. Iget what your saying but I want a little something more than just subs in the rear like something to add a little more mid and vocal in the rear not just subwoofer, I want to use the rear channel of my amp, but also to add more than just subwoofer in the rear, what can I do?
  12. I will have car completely sound deadened, the sub amp is P300-1 and the other amp is P400-4 I have one set of components in stock door location and another set below them in a fiberglass speaker pod the speakers are orion cobalt 6.5 components I wana stick to the same brand for the rear if I get them I was thinking putting 2 6x9 coax on the floor in front of sub box angled toward windsheild or maybe 4 6.5 coax in rear
  13. just want to hear almost all frequency's to where the music sounds good from low bass to high symbols
  14. ok i dont know what sq is glad we figured that out, i just want to be able to hear more than just bass from the rear i have a 4 channel amp with nothing hooked up to the rear channel, i just wanted some advice to figure out what would be a good thing to add to the rear so its not just bass .... sorry for being ignorant of car audio still trying to learn.
  15. also have so much mid high because i built the box to be able to house either an AA chaos, DC lvl4, or Fi SSD but for now all i can afford were the 2 P1s i for for 30 bucks each with 2 year replacement warranty from best buy and a p300-1
  16. off topic but dlesman i like your avatar !!! reminds me of my father ...... *facepalm
  17. the mids and highs are 50 watt RMS orion components and i like the way it sounds, i like enough bass where some things vibrate and you can feel it but for this little car its about what i want to put into it. you think 2 tweeters in the rear would be enough for high in the back? would be running Rockford punch tweeters. ran on a rockford p400-4 subs are on a p300-1
  18. ok so i have a 1992 Mercury capri. VERY small car, so far i have for the front stage 4x 6.5 components for mid/high and in the rear i have 2x 10" P1s i am going to be adding tweeters running along the top above the subs but i dont know if i should run 2 or 4 ? im going for sq. what do you think? or any other ideas will be nice as well.
  19. res the red goes to the amp, i have one crossover for each component speaker, and i wasnt sure where i wired down the load for 2 sets thank you guys for clearing this up VERY helpful
  20. ok i have 4 crossovers for each component, so like i have pictured the 2 crossovers wired in parallel betweet the crossover and amp will work? as long as i dont wire the speakers in parallel between speaker and crossover
  21. well i have 4 components and i want to run 2 on left 2 on right they are 50 watts rms each 4ohm and my amp can do 100watt 2ohms each channel so i would still have left and right
  22. if i cant do that how can i wire these 2 sets of components together on one channel in parallel ?
