    First, ditch the box as soon as you can. Second, depending on your budget, I love my CVR's. I abuse the crap out of them and they still show me unconditional love. DC level 2 or 3 would do good with 800 watts per pair. Alpine type r's would do great in the right box The subs you pick will be important, but nowhere near as important as getting a good ported box.

    What box are you using now? you could get a large boost in output from a well designed ported box. Are you currently running sealed or ported? and I wouldn't chance running 400rms each to type e's, i know type r's can take more than rated but i don't know about the type e's.

    Depending on the efficiency[sp?] of your amp, if it is A/B and 60%, you can safely get [90x.6] x voltage [12] atleast 650 watts If it is D and 80%, you can safely get [90x.8] x [12] atleast 860 watts If your voltage is 14.4 you could get over 1000 watts if it is class D I have a 110 amp alt with 105 amps of current draw on my sytem [multiple amps] and I get some headlight dimming, but the voltage never goes below 12 volts.

    I dont think you will need all those upgrades for over 500 watts rms. I think you could probably get almost 1000 watts out of the stock electrical with just the Big 3. Unless you know something wrong about your electrical system that we dont.

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i42_15-...subwoofers.html look at the kicker comps or memphis power reference series. these are all 15's, but you could also look at 12's or 10's http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8840_P...ik+OV2-800.html My friend has this amp pushing his 2 12'' kicker comps [the black round ones] in a prefab memphis box and it actually sounds really good. The box is really well built though for prefab.

    I'm in Oklahoma and the urban areas are alright, but the rural farms are getting destroyed. These little tornadoes keep popping up in batches of three or four and take out some homes then just dissapear. The rainfall has been bad and the weather has a 30% chance of rain every day for the next week. [i thought it was april showers bring may flowers, not june floods]

    If you want something cheap to play with, parts express has some really cheap 8's. I put a $20 8'' in a audiobahn bass tube with 70 watts and it destroys my first system [visonik 10's and amp from pep boys lol]. I was impressed for the price and power. [although it doesn't like 23hz tones lol]

    Alright, Its done, my computer was not so compliant [i am in th middle of a thunderstorm and the power has been flickering] Im really tired, so by noon tomorrow i will email you the file and a list of the sizes of wood you will need. [i am asuming 3/4 inch MDF].

    I'm making it W: 36" H: 16" D: 23" Sound ok? The tuning isn't 100% accurate, but it is between 31-33. gimme about another hour

    so what are your new max dimensions? I'm stuck at 2.3 cubes per sub at the moment, an inch or two would do it. And you can still polyfil if you want.

    google the phrase "google sketchup" and you will find a free program that i use to build boxes 3-d. I can either send you a file or try and figure how to post pics here. give me til noon and i will try and have something, no gurantees tho, my desktop is running kinda slow. oh and if you are running Vista, dont even try and download google sketchup. it wont work.

    you will have to do subs up port back because you cant fit 15" subs on a 13.5" piece of wood. How big of a rush do you need this? do you have google sketchup?

    Sorry dude, with wood thickness and port displacement, you are prolly lookin at 5 cubes max. I don't know of any 15's that will want that small of space. Maybe you could stuff with polyfil also? that could put you up to a theoretical 6-6.5 cubes. What subs is it and what car? fold down seats? *edit* I just looked at the p3 wanting a 2.66 for ported. Where do you want the port and what direction for the subs? If I had some more info I could try and work on something
