bump, cleaned the knob now it doesnt have the goop on it. Needs radio unlock code to work in your bmw

That fuse may be to small. not that it will help the overheating but ud probably want a 150 ANL fuse for your amp. i think:)

These are the settings on my amp. Gain 3/4 Subsonic 35 - my boxes tuning LPF 80 Bass Boost 0 HU settings are Subwoofer level 15 and all bass boost and bass level are off My amp gets pretty hot, Is that a bad thing? Clipping light is ok though, Im not clipping at all.

good thing with AQ amps they have a clipping light knob so you know if your clipping or not
