  1. So I would want to build it to fit the physical port length right? the 30inches doesn't matter or is that the effective port length?
  2. i believe its the other way around. according to that jl audio link port length is the actual wood
  3. Well I need to know which one to build it by. Port length or physical port length. It cannot have both and what about end correction?
  4. What is the difference between port length and Physical port length. In the box I am building my port length is 30" and my physical port length is 24.75" Which one is more important? I'm building a box with one common wall Those are my calculations It would be VERY helpful if someone came up with a picture perhaps in Google sketch up or something. Thanks in Advance, any help is appreciated
  5. the port will be a total of 30 inches but will only go back as far as it can while still keeping 4.5 inches from the back wall then go up to what ever is needed to get the 30'
  6. IS there any problems with this box design because this is the only way it will fit and still be tuned right plz respond asap

  8. OMG THOSE ARE SEXY BOXES amp is a AQ 1200D and whats bracing thanks so much:)
  9. My original box isn't good enough, the port area is like 10' per foot and I now I understand that it is suppose to be around 12-18 inches per square foot. The subs require 1.75cubic feet so the net volume needs to be 3.5 cubic feet. I am wondering how to build a box like that with these dimensions Height 15 Width 32' and depth 28'. The port can only be around 3 inches for the subs to fit (I THINK) if anyone has any ideas on how I'm going to build this to around 33-37hz please let me know. If you need more info let me know. 15. Hey, I just noticed today that something other then my trunk rattles. Its only on the gas cap side. We took the car battery out and insulated, it but did nothing. I looked under gas tank to see a bunch of wires and the gas hose but nothing is rattling. This is a very annoying rattle and i'm wondering if I can spray some type of foam up in there to stop the rattle. Any Ideas. Sorry no pics i can barely see it. Thanks in advance
