  1. Honestly the only real way to do it is retrofitting which is a pain in the ass. You could just order some explorer aftermarket headlights with projectors in them but they are usually pretty low quality. I found out the hard way but shit the ebay projectors are better than nothing.
  2. I'm surprised people aren't giving you a hard time for using stock halogen projectors. The thing with HID bulbs in halogen housings is it usually causes a really bad glare and it pisses off other drivers, but its hard to tell through pictures. But looks better than halogens so nice buy.
  3. I go to several forums that use a point system, like reputation/negative reputation and its rarely abused. I'm not saying SMD is small but I don't think its big enough to where it would be abused everyone is pretty straightforward with eachother here.
  4. Thank you I will keep that in mind, but unfortunately my car has been re-tinted several times since that last post almost a year ago. It never peeled btw.
  5. All I was thinking the whole show is how resilient that guys body is. Think about it, for the majority of his life hes been getting impaled, broken bones, blunt trauma, week after week. And on top of that his organs are put through another boat load of shit from all the drugs. He must be a genetic freak to withstand all that shit.
  6. For sale is a pair of my old headlights. Has high beam halogens in them but would need to be retrofitted with projector to be used correctly. I have modified/resealed these by painting the housing black, but they are more watertight then when I received them off the internet. I'm selling as is, due to one of the LED's not always lighting up in the bottom strip, and to use these properly you must retrofit. For 07+ Yukon. $45.00+ shipping.
  7. I agree, its just for some reason that old picture with the covers made me think twice.
  8. That is kind of the reason I don't use the covers ... for some reason since I upgraded to HID's, they don't show as well as the halogens did through the covers, and I am not looking to get a vehicular man slaughter charge with the windshield tint. I think for once practicality/safety is going to win me over here.
  9. Good to hear... for those who don't know I'm asking about headlight covers or no headlight covers.
  10. 35.00$ shipped. Works great, was never overclocked or whatever. Send me a tell.
  11. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. The projectors are glass, but still cheap projectors. I did lose light output due to me being a dumbass and not aiming, and thus the cutoff is really shitty and I will never show you pics of it. Youll have to come see me in the streets haha because no way I will show how bad I aimed the projectors. It looks decent though, if I ever do it again I know what to do and what not to do. If anyone has questions Ill be glad to help you out.
  12. I took apart the pull string assembly and it seems the big metal fan like thing that should spin is frozen in place, I tried to move it but it does not move by any means. Blown engine?
  13. I pulled out a old big foot goped I had from when I was a kid and my buddy rode it around for a good 30 minutes reliving our childhood. Anyways after 30 minutes of riding it around pretty much non stop it say for about an hour and I realized it was time to stop reminiscing so I went to crank her up to drive her to my shed and she stopped mid crank. Is the engine just flat out blown or something?
  14. Dude I needed to ask you lastnight. Do the cutoffs face upwards or downwards? I have no idea and I need to know before I seal these up. Ill PM you my number TEXT me asap when you can.
  15. What a pain in the ass, but apparently my old headlights were ugly so here we go.
  16. Well what about a loophole like I could get a hold of the plate with proof I have a vehicle that year then register it to a vehicle another year, I highly doubt the DMV will care, as long as the vehicle is registered in my name?
