Hey guys, This is a Dual ZVX-12 Installation in a Lexus that was recently done by one of our in house installers for Ryan W, who is our shipping and Customer Service Rep here at the HQ... It was only right we got him into a system, so after some deciding he opted for a Dual 12 Daily Trunk Setup in which we used the ZVX-12 Subwoofers (1500 Watts RMS). The 2 12's are being powered by a Skar Audio SK-2500.1D which is fittingly a perfect match. Not all pictures below constitute the work that has been done for this system, such as electrical and so forth which was already in the vehicle, but our installer did document the new box build. I do have to say, I was personally very happy with how the blow-through sounded in this vehicle with the dual ZVX-12's through the rear arm-rest. We are going to make panels and add an SK-85.4AB at which time we will update this build log. Some production photo updates...We are expecting these to arrive in Late February. Should be done in about 10 days and then en route!!

These are due to finish production within the next 10-12 days which will put them here roughly around the end of February. Glad to finally have a solid arrival date so we can go ahead and get this Pre-Order started for you guys! Production should be wrapping up on these as well as the VVX-8v3 here in about 2-3 weeks. This is great news as we were worried there might have been a delay due to the new year month long break overseas, so they will be here in Late February =) Pre-Ordering will open up next week some time!

Production is being held up a bit but has been started...Release will be looking at close to middle of March instead of late Jan/early Feb. We spent some extra time dialing the woofer in perfectly but did finally get it done and parts gathering is happening now =)

We should have more finalized information and specs, including pricing by the end of this week/weekend. The holiday season held us up a bit as we were dealing with higher than typical volume. These are looking good for a late February release though.

After much demand we have finally gotten around to putting the Skar Audio SK-2500.1D on our test bench and the Dyno Results are in... We used (4) Shuriken 16V Batteries for testing and this was a non-charging load. The purpose of using the 16V batteries is so that after the heavy draw from the amplifier during the testing, we get real power ratings at that 14.4v~ load as you will see in this video. We had the pleasure of having one of our dealers and team members join us at the Skar Audio HQ on Friday for some live TermLab Testing in the warehouse. Brandon and Alex are active in the competition scene and have a really great passion for car stereo, and we are lucky to have them representing Skar Audio =). This build is EXTREMELY Loud and was at one point running different woofers and amplifiers than it is now with the Skar Audio. I believe at one point there were (4) Tantric Audio 15's and I pushed them into moving with (4) of the Skar Audio ZVX-15 15" Woofers. The results have been great so far, with them being powered by (2) Skar Audio SK-4500.1D's this vehicle has metered higher than it ever has with a 157.3dB Score! I'd suggest the Sk1500 in that case. The VVX series is underrated at 600watts rms. Good electrical and a clean signal I've seen double the power daily. Do a proper break in before going hard on it and set the gains correctly. The 1500 has about the same footprint as the 85.4. Thanks for the suggestion, but isn't that too much power for 1 vvx? it says it gives 1680wrms @ 1 ohm another factor is that the nvx amp cost normally 239 (now it's 199) while the sk-1500.1D cost 449 I'm still between the nvx and LP1000 because of the price. Thanks again =) I can't speak for the NVX, but if you ever have an issue with the LP-1000.1D (which seem to be rare based on our warranty claim rate on them) I will be here to take care of you =) The LP-1000.1D is a very strong amplifier and our customers seem to be very pleased with them!

Hi tonio, Not sure what happened to the email but I just looked and wasn't able to locate it. Unfortunately we do not sell recone kits for the IVX models due to the price of the woofer. Generally speaking most customers replace them should there be an issue due to the effort involved in reconing them and the cost, etc. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. -Kevin
