He was trying to run a Fi BTL n2 15" with only 16 gauge wire.. So Im pretty sure thats what did it.

I emailed them and they said no problem! They said they have some sundown terminals that'll fit it. My friend took responsibility and payed for it. Thanks!

Yeah it is, I'm not sure what the hell he did. I've had these amps a long time, they've always did their job and did it good. I've had them in various builds and many comps. These amps have gotten me a long way but I've never made them look like this before. I'm sending it out tomorrow hopefully it gets fixed. I wanted to use the four of them on the 2 SMD 18's I plan on getting for my truck. That's where the amps were gona stay.

No he did, but I should've. He's hooked up amps before and never did this.

And it doesn't help that it's a fairly old amp.

Yeah it still works just not as efficiently as it could ya know? I've hooked up all of his systems and build him boxes for nothing.. he's gona pay for it or find my size 13 shoe up his a**. He had the amp for about 6 months. I'll check out the website and here's some pictures of it..

Okay guys so heres the low down, I have four Db Drive pd2000.1 amps. I've had these amps a long time and they're some of the best that i've owned... don't really care for anyone else's opinions on them. I recently let a friend borrow one and when i gave it to him it was in brand new condition and got it back with some pretty crappy looking speaker terminals. All corroded and the screws are stripped out. I planned on using these in the build i have planned for my 1998 Chevy Silverado but its nearly impossible to use now.. any help as to what i could do would be great! I'm pretty upset about this.

alright so the amps have been upgraded to DB DRIVE PD2000.1 What do you guys know about these amps? good? bad?

Well welcome to the club lol the relay i need is basically to turn on multiple amps the right way. Youre not supposed to put anymore than 1 or 2 accessories on the remote turn on on the head unit.. thats what my relay is for. But i just need help with what "kind" of relay i need.. And im not sure if im sticking with those amps either guys. Im on a budget..

Yeah a relay to turn on the remote switch for the amps and processors to power on. Im a little stumped on that.. i still have a lot to learn so my bad if its a dumb question.

So soon im putting a couple fully loaded Fi BTL 15's in a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. Im using two Crunch GPV 2000.1 amps. 2000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm. 1 going to each sub. Any ideas on what kind of relay to use on these amps? ANY help i can get would be great.
