200amp alternator limitations

2500 is the max watts you would run on a 200amp alt? -
how much max power can you run off of a 200amp alt? i heard that for every 1000watts of power it takes 70amps from the alt.... But with batteries, i believe you could run more than 2700watts off of a 200amp alt. So in summary how much? 5k, 7k, 10k? if anyone actually runs and has experience with a 200amp alt, what is the most power you ran off of it without dropping your voltage levels a ridiculous amount?

kitty hair is called kitty hair. it has long strands of fiberglass in a bodyfiller. there is also something called everglass which has short strands of fiberglass in a body filler. both are made by a company called Evercoat. The stuff you mix it with is just a hardener. You can use fiberglass for a variety of applications. You can use it to build tweeter pods, custom kick panels, custom enclosures from big to small. It makes some sweet lookin curves and designs that you cannot accomplish with regular wood/mdf. See groundpounder2ks threads for some sweet ass builds using fiberglass, you will definenlty understand "custom fiberglass work." hope that helps! ;D here are some links: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...php?topic=835.0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...php?topic=648.0

awsome bro thanks! :^ i just wanted to explain my question better, i don't think it came out correctly. would it be okay to do the "engine to ground" on a different bolt on the engine(lets say where the air condition bracket meets the engine), other than the bolt where the alternator bracket meets the engine? or would you recommend grounding only to the alt bracket to engine bolt?
-
that "batteries explained" thread was great, it shoulda been stickied! anyway, a big 3 tutorial would be sweet. i know there have been a few threads about it. maybe you guys can explain why the alternator bracket is the best ground? also, when doin the big 3, and your on the "engine to ground" part, would the "alternator bracket to chasis" be the same thing as "engine to chasis?" :-[

so that gap is a voice coil gap? so, if one sub causes a slight movement on the other sub, it will rub causing the voice coil to fail?
