  1. I updated the OP.... looking for 2k rms now... decided I want more power for these SA-12's >=)
  2. Hey guys, Just like the topic title, I'm looking at buying a 2000 Watt at 1 ohm amp. I'm not trying to spend more than $350 shipped, as I could get a new Crescendo amp for $330-ish (I think?) I'd prefer something like a SAZ-2000D, AQ2200D, or something of the sort. I'm not one for Audiopipe or Hifonics.. so not very interested in those amps. Thanks.
  3. Yes, B-Stock is a used item that carries a new warranty. From the description on the website, all that appears to be wrong with the B-Stock item is that it has a scratch on it... a small price to pay for saving a decent chunk of change, IMO.
  4. My budget is about $500. I listen to a lot of electronic music (dubstep, house) and rap. It doesn't have to be Rockford Fosgate, it can be anything. I was thinking of just getting one 12" though. I am open to all ideas. edit: I'd prefer quality bass, but who doesn't like to shake buildings around you sometime? Also, the sub is $200 on ebay. For the sub, go with a FI Q. Great sub... can get loud and sound damn good while doing it. $244 for a 12" per FI's website. There are many other great subwoofer choices as well. For the amp, the AQ1200D mentioned earlier will feed the Q the power it needs. Those two in unison will put you at about $470, not with shipping, however.
  5. For one of those pre-fab boxes, yes. I'm probably going to get this box custom made in effort to get as close to 2.0 cubes as possible, even if it involves raising the seat.
  6. As the thread title says, I'm looking to put 2 subs that will slap decently in a very small ported enclosure. The enclosure is going under the seats of my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, hence the small internal volume. I've heard only 8's and 10's would possibly work. I'm looking to feed these subs about 1000-1500 RMS daily. Anyone have any suggestions for some subs? I've been looking at almost everything on here, but I can't seem to decide. Thanks for all your help if you reply
  7. Hey guys, new comer here. I just wanted to ask a few questions here. I've been in the predicament of choosing a new sub for my car, because I recently blew my Kicker L5, and I'm looking for quality this time around. I would go with a JL W7 12, but I just don't have that money. So, I think I have my mind set on a FI BL, because I'm leaning towards a 70/30 balance of SPL and SQ accordingly. I already have a Kicker ZX1000.1 installed in my car. It was birthed at 1300 and some odd watts, so I believe I'm good with RMS. It is 2 ohm stable. I'm for sure going fully loaded, and this sub will be for my daily driver, a 01 Mercury Cougar. If I get this sub, I will go to one of my local car audio stores and let them build me a custom box. I e-mailed FI not too long ago, asking if I would be okay running this setup, and this is what they said. My amp already has a subsonic filter installed.... My amp is (I believe) an '08. So, I should be fine, correct? If not, where could I get one of these for a decent price? If this setup won't work out, do you guys have any other recommendations for subs? I want to keep this amp for a while because it still runs like a champ. Thanks in advance guys. Dyllan
