I know I said this before but ill say it again, things like this, the T-shirt design contest, along with the impeccable customer service is why DC subs will always be in any ride I have! Even tho I'm still saving up for my 18"lvl 4 with XL upgrade so I'm DC less at the moment lol!

What program are you guys using for the t shirt template? Or all just Photoshop? Ive been drawing a cool logo/shirt idea but if I just upload the drawing I'm sure it wouldn't be as effective

Ill get a couple drawings up here, I draw more than I do digital art, that's ok yeah? I could scan it onto my comp and then find a program online or something that I could lay it on a shirt with. That's really cool Rusty that you do contests like this! One of the reasons I will always run DC is the impeccable customer service/customer interaction. Good products, good people, can't beat that!

Oh hell... now that makes me think of the huge boom box I had as a kid. It was a real boom box, with speakers built in, a carrying handle and 8 D cell batteries. Had 6" woofers and 2" tweeters and it sounded like the best thing ever when I was 12. Probably cranked out about 8 wpc though... on FRESH batteries.
But I also have two JVS systems like this Sony and they both have separate subwoofer channels and subs built into the speakers. Both were given to me, one BNIB and I use one for the computer and the other in the shop. The newer one claims, iirc, 160 watts for the subs. I don't know if it'll do that but I do use one of the sub channels test woofers and it will make them move pretty good so... who knows.
Anyway, I think you'll get the reasonable rated power Sony buried in the specs. It's not too hard to make watts with high source voltage.

We (or me atleast) weren't calling you a noob when you wanted to overpower a sub. Many people don't know the signs to look for. There's bottoming out, clipping, over excursion, etc. The average person doesn't know how to look for the signs.
No one was trying to "intimidate" you. Come on..were online on a forum. You're probably relaxed at home on your couch. How would we intimidate you?
You never said that you wanted 2 XLs on the single 3.5kwrms amp. You said level 4. Theres a HUGE difference between the subs.
We weren't talking down to you. We were educating you. We aren't clownimg you either. I don't even know how you came to that conclusion.

Thanks brother that means alot, I wasn't trying to come off like a ahole I was just frustrated with more than the fourms and kinda let it all go on here, i MORE than respect you all for your amazing builds and endless knowladge and I look and read these fourms regilously and look up to your builds so I didn't in any way mean to sound like a defensive ahole and I appologize for that bro. I know what you mean about people just jumping in thinklin they can buy the most powerful gear and start killin all but have no know how to run the nessicary power to run the gear. So sorry I came off so bad and thanks for saying what you said in your reply, and I hope you had a great xmas and a good and safe new year!

Well for one Im not a kid, for two I DO have experiance, Im not a noob Im just new to DC, and its funny because I can only afford 1 sub at a time and want to pre plan amp wise for when I buy the second sub a few months later? Also for your information I've been upgrading my electrical already so by the time I do order my amp and sub in a month or two my electrical is ALREADY READY FOR BIG POWER. I didn't ask for smart ass down talking comments I asked to get info on a brand Im new too, I hate when people on here rip people apart for asking a question, just cause I dont have big money to buy all the top of the line stuff doesn't mean I don't have the experiance in car audio, If I blow my 1st DC from over powering it why would I expect it to be covered under warrenty a user error is a user error no matter how much you know about car audio! So if you just want to talk down find some noob to try to intimidate into not going big because Im not a noob I do know what Im doing Im just new to the product, So I dont see why running the 3k on half gain untill I get my second XL a couple months later is such a laughable topic, I guess you have to have big money to play here or you just get crap talked to you?? THANKS DWRIGHT for your ACTUAL help with my questions,, YOU made a great impression on me from DC and I MORE than appriciate your help to educate me on a product Im new to, Im looking forward to doing business with you for my XLs next month

I need to know what battery would be good for under my hood, I have a 1982 chevy caprice with the small block 400 under the hood. Im going to be running a AP 3k and a DC lvl 4 18" so Im also needing to know what batteries to run in the back to power my amps, Im new to XS but have heard GREAT things and I want to run them but I dont know what batteries I need. Im not planning on getting in on the group buy I wont have the cash till the end of January but I need to know how much I need to save up by then! Thanks for your time

Yeah I am new to DC and have been trying to figure out exactly what imma run in my trunk and Ive been asing alot of quotes from Rusty and he replies to all of my question really fast! Ive been blown away with his customer service and Im not even officialy a customer yet and he has me more than sold on DC by his above and beyond customer service! Ill be ordering about febuary!

Im pretty sure I wont be able to order by the end of group buy buy I still want to run XS batteries. I have a 1982 chevy caprice with the small block 400 in it. I am going to be running one AP3k amp and 1 DC lvl4 18" to start with for my build after the 1st of the year, my question is waht battery would be good for up front? I was thinking 2 D1200s would be ok on my amp to start but I had no clue about what battery for my front id need. Thanks for your help and either way I will be ordering from you soon

I use Fruity Loops, Reason, and Pro Tools, and yes Fruity Loops is the easiest to learn and use if you dont have any prior producing experiance, Ive been doing it for years and learned on fruity loops. I produce local music here in Colorado and in Nor Cal for a couple underground artists there. I like makin LOW bass tracks for my trunk, I can't wait to get my DC lvl4 18 in about a month and make some killer low low bass lines
