  1. Yeah the 15 would be loud and j dubb i already post a link from that site, just look from there.Btw i meant the bass idk what you mean by volume lol.
  2. Setup he posted looks good and yeah a single 12 or 15 could be louder than two...
  3. depends on box but his links are broken im guessing he meant the hdc3 which like 1000rms..start smaller until you got money for a more powerful alternator and batteries.
  4. of course it will i mean have you checked out what other peeps running?i know a couple of kids at my school with two 12's in a sealed box both trunk cars and it hit pretty damn hard...flexing some body panels and trunk lid..trust me two decent 12's in a alright box would be good to go and when your ready to build your own better box you can upgrade. One thing I look at is electrical make sure you tell us what amp for the subs you trying to run too. http://www.audioque.com/aq/ That is a good company that you have people on this site stand behind and have a pretty nice value too if not better than most.Look at their amps and price.
  5. you can make 1 12'' sound like 2 15's,just mostly depend on the box and placement of the box...meaning you can get louder putting it in one place than another.Read a little here about making boxes and other stuff..if you dont want to do that get a couple kicker 12's and a pre fab and wire it correctly.Ask us if you have any problems and you'll learn from there brother.
  6. that's a good upgrade make sure to do the big 3 too...and j dubb rms means continous power and ohm's is the resistance in the wires.
  7. if that's what you meant than my fault for miscommunication, that's actually fine for decent power.
  8. good job man your truck hits hard as hell even on video, amazing what the boxes you make could do...
  9. for SPL try finding the freq you car is loudest at first..
  10. Find a box calculator to help you out a little bit and tuning of the port is the opening of the port (surface area) and length of wood connecting to the opening (port length)...usually the longer the port length the lower the tuning in accordance to the box size and port area...turn you bass boost off btw and careful with your gain,.
  11. tell me about it...i use to think the stock sub is bumpin and now at times i cant even hear my sub on some songs.
