  1. Im thinking about getting the AP 10001D Im just wondering if anyone had any input if its a badass amp or the worst amp. or if its really stable at one ohms? Thank you
  2. Nah i took it out of the box to see if there was anything loose or anything and the spider was fine. But pretty damn worn out. Its in an older model p1 like the black and red ones Also was making a squeaky noise like mickey mouse and i figured out the screw holes were fucked up so i made new ones. and reienforced everything.
  3. Alright tommorow. i will. I got all the stuff installed by a local shop that was a long time ago and now im not a dumbass no more (im still a little bit Shh....) Now that i look back i want to slep the shop cuz of there shitty job. but oh well I will run through some trouble shoots with all that shit. Thanks
  4. + to + and - to - 4ohm bridged SVC 4 ohm p1 so its wired correctky i know that
  5. Alright im going to do that tommorow i havent touched the gains on that amp and it was laying around i havent checked it. it was my dads
  6. Alright i reinstalled my old P1 12 just for temporary beat. but every time im in it it makes this humming/ buzzing sound. Also i cant open up the trunk without the sub playing like highs or something? like its like distored sound from a speaker. Any body know whats going on?
  7. Alright... I cant help but thank you so much i have finally have a little grasp on Gain Thank you
  8. Idk i havent heard the bass on it but i will soon. but i just listened to it and thought it was a pretty badass song. Especially the editing. And one more thing the mustang is really nice lol
  9. That amp will be able to output 250watts cleanly. Tores chart should be fine for that. Yea I know RF makes good amps im going to tune it sometime one more question? Where in the hell do i get those Hz generators? like on a cd?
  10. its a quick simple way to do it yet... but.. if the amp can't do the power or is clipping your not gonna know until it too late.. BURNIN !!! smelly... aww crap... fried Okay well i guess im going to set my gains now or try to lol but if i have a 250 watt mono amp at 2 ohms and i just look at the chart and then use the AC meter to put it to the right Output voltage? what if i put the gain down lower at a lower output? Then you will be getting less than 250 watts from your amp. what amp btw? RF Prime R250 BTW SUB P3 Shallow 10
  11. its a quick simple way to do it yet... but.. if the amp can't do the power or is clipping your not gonna know until it too late.. 12. So you just use torres RMS chart. and then you turn the gain up until it hits the right output voltage?
  13. Maybe... So basically the Gain setting tells the amp the right input voltage so that it wont exceed a certain RMS rating or will stay in that range. So the higher the gain is the more power maybe? So you could totally fuck up your amp if you odnt know how to set the gains?
  14. uh... no. its sorta like... head unit + amp = a certain voltage which depending on what ohm you have it wired to will determine your wattage.. "pending on if the amp is clipping, box rise, etc." Uh Dont hate me lol but what is box rise? and how would you do "head unit + amp"??
  15. The idea is to match the box requirement to your subs specs. You can adjust the box size to accommodate how much power you have. If you are overpowering them, a smaller box would be helpful. If you are underpowering them, a larger box is helpful. The main point (and really only for almost all circumstances) of gains on an amp is to match the input voltage of the amp with the voltage of the input signal. Alright that cleared up the first part cuz im probably going to over power my subs for my next build but still need to fully figure out the gains. Basically it matching the volts of the headunit with the amp? im guessing
  16. So the idea is to have a smaller box if your over powering the sub and a bigger box if your under powering the sub? Also what is the main point of gains on the amp?
  17. Its totally up to you but my input is 20s i think it would be nice to have 22s if you had the extra money laying around(unless you do) you could drop it and cut and make it look real nice.
  18. I just looked at the rims i think glanced at price and saw like 900$ for the 3rd? WOW good luck with trying to get those lol
  19. Well its going on the trunk so maybe i will try to figure something out with the foam depending how much left over money i have LOL
  20. Discount tire FTW personally i would do some 22s, depends what look your going for too normal different but still nothing crazy maybe some 20s would look clean. something like this Id like What how did you get the picture in the thread lol im such a dumbass
  21. Lol Really thats a hard decision all of them look pretty good. I would go with the 2nd option more for cars IMO 1st is for SUVs and last is IDK baddass? lol
  22. it didnt show the picture, it just showed year selection Well oh shit my bad it should show your car with the rims on it
