  1. its metal we DP most of trunk from inside under glass working towards trunk lid then did as much as possible on trunk lid. the lid didn't really have large areas to cover more like a bunch of patching. It seems to me he has to add another layer over what we did and then gut the trunk to get to the areas in pics to deaden those spots. Pics of what we did are real close I don't think they show much but here they are coming from upper inside of trunk outward covered this too under glass same area as last pic but covered up with DP doin work get an idea of trunk design From there on finished up the rest of trunk lid and had two sheets left but it was late and we threw subs back in car wired everything back up and played a few songs and there is a difference but like I said he will need another layer. The pic of me breaking my back where my left elbow is, is where you can get to the first two pics I posted but he needs to save up to get more DP. That car body is flimsy as hell and from the bit we did do I think that the bass is now diverted to the weaker areas since the DP is doing what its supposed to do.
  2. This thread will be on behalf of my friend that owns a mazda 3 4 door car. he recently bought my two 12 type R 12's and fosgate P1000-1bd. Since then he has suffered from alot of trunk rattle that goes into the cabin. We just got done using a bit of damplifier pro but just to be on the right page we used one layer of it on the majority of trunk but now it seems the air is trying to find another way out of trunk. Will this be something he has to learn to live with or something he can tame? on both sides vibration travels forward up pillar but flexs the most on rear side panels travels a quarter of the way up arc over rear doors on both sides equally advice needed please.
  3. Thank you all I have never thrown rocks at anyone and I will not start here thank everyone for helping here just figured they we would get other options while jumping into this install second skin FTW!!!!!!!
  4. For everyone reading I must say that I have friend with no patience but after applying what he purchased he and I are still customers of a very great product I will make sure that he will have a great experience with damplifier Pro, I just came in from helping install it and he will need ALOT MORE . When the time comes I will definitely be ordering from you for my project. Thank you very much for calling him back 100% customer service a million times over.
  5. Is there anything at homedepot or lowes that is the same as the their wooden roller?
  6. Invoice number# 111361 received actual box# 161 damplifier pro 12 x 20 package but ups didn't leave another package. Was it supposed to be in the box or was it seperate package because damplifier pro and wooden roller both have the same tracking numbers? Tried to call but guess it was to late today to talk to someone.
  7. thanks. Just a follow up on for anybody else looking at this, I found a replacement remote at amazon for a god price. Hope this helps. http://www.amazon.com/Directed-Electronics-7752V-Replacement-Transmitter/dp/tech-data/B001QVQH7W
  8. my 5901 main remote only shows 2 of the 4 levels charged and it says its full after leaving it plugged all night. Where do I get replacement battery at?
  9. I'm in same boat as OP, I am moving up from 1000rms to 3000rms and now left wondering what to pair it with. I like the advice gives me things to stare at. Look into the BTL N2 loaded I'm looking at that because its lighter than the others and if it can take the 3000rms daily it will be on. Good luck!!!
  10. would you shoot yourself in the foot if you cancel out the regular with the pro and make this new product the pro? Just adjust the pricing.
  11. That seems good too. Take a look at this, http://www.4xspower.com/downloadables/xspower_flyer-left.jpg
  12. you can put a yellowtop up front and an XSpower in back they are both AGM batteries but go look at xspowers section they posted videos of what sets them apart from other companies. they might cost a bit more but it is in your best interest to save just a little bit longer it will pay off. I think its wrong to have say a regular battery and an AGM battery wired together if I'm wrong someone please correct me.
  13. For that $400 you can get an xspower D3100 battery
  14. I will look into that Bre2ts on the current draw.
  15. Cool guys thanks for advice I was told to sell D1200 and install a D3100 in there but What I'm looking at doing I don't think I will have space for that unless I carry my spare up front with me and drop the D3100 in the spare tire well. I been wanting to know what my batteries combined will support but like I said changes will be made if necessary. Thanks again everybody
  16. I have what I listed and my D1200 is bigger than a XS925 in the back. My single runs of positive and negative 1/0 is OFC knukonceptz running parallel to the S3400 up front and D1200 in trunk. I need to know if I need to add another run of 1/0 to positive and negative of the batteries and upgrade to a larger battery in the trunk????
  17. sO i NEED TO ADD ANOTHER RUN OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE 1/0 TO REAR BATTERY?
  18. From the paper that comes with the XSpower battery it says to use an AGM charger and not to supply charge over 14.4v for 12v batteries AT NO TIME during charging should the battery be subjected to more than 2.4v per cell. I read in another of the papers not to let the battery take 15v longer than five minutes. Because they can gas.
  19. I most likely be ordering a crescendo 3500 later today and want to get my to do list in line for my last jump in my build thanks.
  20. G I Joe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. the way it is now will not work? Do I need more runs of power and ground from front to back?
