oh, i had a meeting with my CPA right after work (sweatin bullets LOL) and doing my taxes and after that, the rest of the day i was busy haulin stuff to the playhouse. Last night i wasnt on the computer much.......just saw all the new comments, too damn many to address! Im at my regular work and have stuff to do LOL - thank you guys though i appreciate all the support!! Ping-Pong table has been installed BTW LOL!

im not too proud to say i could use some good old fashion table saw lessons..... of course i need a good tablesaw, im sure thats 98% of the problem - i always use shitty ones and shitty tools = dangerous tools. fly in im gonna be here at LEAST 30 days hahah! same for the guy who said i was teh ghey - come on down and sprinkle a n()()b with some knowledge. i can use a table saw i just need some real guidence on the do's, donts and HELL NO DONTS. Ever since i lost part of the tip of my finger to a router on a serious DONT, i have been real wary of power tools and extra precautious. *sp

CRACK CRACK CRACK lets do it! oh ya work... some other time. i dont have a very good table saw and to be honest, im a little scared of them. I took one to the gut one too many times over the years and i know to many people named stubby - if ur good, i believe u (and i know your good and i do believe you)... but im not. I like panel saws for shear speed and safety. A little help on a nice vacuum system for it will be coo.......same for my router table when i get it.

i dont know that many if any installers that are that good and are local.......not saying they arent out there i just dont know them. It would be nice though.... i mean i know some really good installers, but if your messin with peoples cars they gotta be REAL good - and if they are that good they already have a shop. Or even better, they are good but NOT DEPENDABLE. I ran commercial roofing jobs bigger then football fields and i have foreman in my blood - DEPENDABLE is a hard thing to come by i dont care how much talent really.....you smell me on that i know!

my building is only structurally attached to the body shop next door. Other then that its 100% seperate. Roy wont even know im there unless i burpety-burp something during the day . Im gonna avoid that though so i dont wear out my welcome. AFTER HOURS is a diff story the seperate area you see in the vid is all part of MY OWN shop and has nothing to do with the body shop at all.

2 jobs plus the wife has a pretty good job the only thing keeping the hoopty from being finished is Chicken. When he is sober, its full steam ahead. When he drinks, he gives a F#CK about anything except whatever is going on at that moment. I hope to get both the caddies back for some much needed attention......and of course PAINT!

unfortunately bro, i have put the V on hold in order to get this spot. sucks for me but maybe it will work out better in the end and i can still get it sometime this year.

that sounds good but right now, like i said, my tools are embarrasing and i might have to hide them in one of the bathrooms until i start geting good stuff. For instance, you wont see a huge Snap On tool box, i dont have one LOL. Just two small craftsmen and misc. power tools. I do want that panel saw though! in other words, come on down but dont expect to see shop-of-the year there, it will be a minute before i can even get a vacuum system for the router and panel saw.... we can however play a damn good game of "catch" with the football in there.......me and my sons were doin it last night! You can go pretty long in there!

thanks again everyone! and for those that made comments about it being a bad neighborhood, its not. Its actually pretty good out there. YOu gotta drive well over a mile, bang a left, and go over the freeway like another mile before it gets bad. Theres not much out by where im at. Its CLOSE to Del Paso Heights but its not.

heck ya, when i get settled in all you guys can come visit. i need some real tools though, my shitty ass tools are ok for my garage but this shop just makes them embarrasing. I am gonna buy a panel saw this week on payday and then a really badass router table from Mobile Solutions - from there i will just do whatever - build some boxes, something - ill figure it out later Who wants to park on the checkerboard floor and take pics? i will and to the guy who said "steve meades fantasy factory" - i wasnt even thinkin cars i was thinkin half-pipe for the kids (and me ) and a tall ass basketball hoop at least regulation hoop for sure. Shit we can roll inside, slam the doors shut and slap that shit!! Im gona put a few flat screens in and have my tunes, all that......should be fun!

A seperate area for detail, window tint, whatever..... Two bathrooms. One male one female - or jailhouse style, one for 1, one for 2 LOL Air lines ran from that HUGE ass body shop next door......he said as long as i dont drain it dry i can use it! I wont ever use enough to drain that place dry!

i have hinted around to this all weekend but i wanted to make sure it was going to happen before i said anything......so far i got my keys and i am in! My new shop is attached to the building that is doing the paint on my Tahoe. The owner of the building made me an offer i couldnt refuse!! He is a kick ass guy! Anyway, i have 2 huge roll up bay doors, glass doors on my office and lobby with electic roll up steel doors behind that too........its so dope!! ITs way bigger then i need so ill have to figure out how to use it all, possibly sub some out........i dont know. I really just need a place to do what i do, which is whatever i want to do LOL! Its NOT going to be a store front and i wont be selling decks and alarms etc - just a kick ass place to do what i do. Oh and its ONLY 4500 Square feet Heres the pics! My shop is on the SIDE of this one - its attached but completely seperate. Both Bays, both offices mine one side is a lobby though. Gotta have the RE Clock! Thanks GREG! My office window has steel roll up door in front of it for nighttime security.

i already have LED bulbs - that dont make the stock housings look any better though Those last ones David posted look pretty good tho not bad.
