Andrew at B2 Audio has been asking ne for something like this for months. Normally i dont have a lot of time to do custom stuff as our daily orders keep us ridiculously busy. But B2 Audio and especially Andrew Showers has been so good to me and a solid partner of SMD for years. I wanted to do this for him. So i did. Its for a huge build he is working on - stay tuned for that. In the meantime check this larger than life 24 spot terminal cup.
Milled from 1” White Starboard Marine Board.

Sweet setup man. Lasers and a CNC... You got a 3D printer too? With that combo you could make... Well pretty much anything you wanted.
Man my wife would divorce me quick as hell, I'd never be home with a shop like that.
3D Printers suck ass. I have one. I never use it. No reason to with 3 cnc's and 4 lasers at the shop. Why wait 4 hours for a keychain when i can have that shit done in minutes? LOL.

I LOVE it now!! i can see what i am doing finally. Plus i can run the program and pull up files from my email since i networked the PC in to the rest of the PC's. I also spotted a slot for a video card in that little tower. I might have to put one in it so this can be even better. It's funny, but the onboard graphics on the OEM tower is pushing that 3440x1440 monitor just fine. I mean it's at 24hz and all but it's good for the laser software and some basic computer use. That's all i use it for anyway.
Today i cut out an alternator bracket for Mechman (something he is working on). I cut thru the 1/4" steel like it was nothing. This laser is awesome!

I opened up the side panel and saw a little tower in there that runs windows 10 and a program called Cypcut, the software the laser runs off of. Then i saw the HDMI cord running that hideous stock screen....i knew right the. it was time for a change. I actually used my Amex points (i had a lot saved up) and put a Viewsonic 3440x1440 monitor at each laser (i have 4). This one got one too.

The original screen that came with my new 1500w Laguna fiber laser was about as annoying as it gets for me. While the vertical screen looked cool in the pics i couldnt stand using it. I landscaped it out with a new 34” Widescreen and mounted an articulating arm ti the side. The keyboard platform it originally comes with is equally annoying. Just enough room for a keyboard but no mouse. I fixed that too (with my other Laguna CNC of course)

Does it work? Did it do "rated"? This was fun!

Ok keep in mind, i already have Klipsch 5.2.1 (or is it 5.1.2 i forget) and it sounds amazing (to me). I really love these speakers. And i also love that Onkyo receiver. But it has to go. I am sure my son will love it.
Time to break it all down and start over. I am adding more speakers and getting a new cabinet for all the stuff. The TV is an 85" Sony 4k. I love that too! Best TV i ever owned.
My current rear surround speakers will be moved to the sides.
the Atmos speakers up top will stay and they will be joined by rear Atmos in the same spot but behind me. I have no plans of doing In-Ceiling speakers until i get my next house so this will have to do. And it will be pretty good i am sure!

i saw this reciever and these amps at CES Las Vegas last January and i knew i had to have them! I placed an order and saved up since then. They were finally ready and so was i! I am replacing my BELOVED Onkyo TX NR-575 with a Audiocontrol Maestro X9 pre-amp receiver and a pair of Audiocontrol Amps (Pantages G4 5 channel and Savoy G4 7 channel). I just tore out the old stuff and i have my work cut out for me but check out what i have so far.
So excited to get that Audiocontrol Maestro X9 finally!! My dream come true!
Think 12 channels will be enough?
