Since the B and the 2 are both two different pieces and it is important to get the placement and angle just right, i cut a slightly oversized reverse template. Something i can put in place that will guide the bigger letters to the correct position. Then the template gets removed.  The B2 logo is also bonded to the bracing with weld-on #3.  You will see what i did MUCH better in the video i am working on.  I hope to have it ready by tomorrow (the video, not the box).  The box itself still has plenty of work to be done before i can fire it up.

  2. Everyone keeps asking "where did the B2 Audio in the bracing go?"....i tell 'em don't worry it's gonna be there. But nobody gets it till i actually do it.  This was planned all along. Mainly because the brace needed to be CNC cut while the logo needed to be laser cut (more detail in a beam vs. a router bit).  I decided it would look best like this. I kinda like it :D

1/2 Clear acrylic with white 1/8" over the top of it.  I offset the white a little because i think it looks better with some of the clear showing on the edges.

  3. Again, you can't see it but where those are joined together, the acrylic solvent is crystal clear.  It is a bond that is better than the actual material. It is more of a weld and less of a glue. In fact it isn't even glue at all. Just solvent. I did the bolts (1/4 x 20 x 1 1/2") because i wanted them in there but at this rate, they don't really need to be there. It was nice to suck the pieces together with them though instead of a clamp.  This thing should look nutty when fully peeled!

Look real close...the seam is welded. It is one.  And it came out clean! especially for a huge 1" slab.  It is EASY to completely ruin this so i am happy it is going well so far.

  4. Finally, about 5 years and 10’s of thousands of cnc made terminals sold, the real deal, factory made version is here! Very high quality injection molded body, TAPPED front landings (no “nut on a nut”) and a divider in the back to keep the wires from moving to close although with this design, that should never happen.  It also has a built in gasket! Available now at most authorized dealers (most dont know about it yet).

Perfect drop.  That car particularly has some ridiculous wheel gap from the factory.  A much needed drop is what the doctor ordered.

i made a quick little youtube video on the build...deciding if i want to upload it now or wait a few hours....not sure.  Wanna see and hear it? the turbo blow off is intoxicating haha
