I could try that, but yesterday I pulled the head unit to check the connections for the amp and nothing was bare or disconnected.

Driving in to work today all 4 speakers up and quit working, only sound I had was the subs in the trunk. I had the music turned up kinda loud on the interstate and thought what I was hearing was distotion. Definitally wasn't that. After I turned it down all speakers just went dead. When I got to work I disconected the subs and wired up the rear speakers. No bass sucks, but at least I gots my music Edit: so my question is do I buy a newget h.u or do I get an e.q and a second amp?

I did call back, called both numbers....tried the store number but that just rang forever. Then called the number that showed up on my phone. Turns out the gig was legit, but the position was filled already. Guess I'm back to square one. I will keep looking and searching out there. Tho I think I'd prefer to be up near Santa Rosa, I'd like to have at least one person there I know.

A couple weeks ago I posted on here bout a person from Panera saying they got my application and was asking if I was interested in the a job. Course I was, problem tho I was St Louis. I've done some thinking and if this job is legit and he really is from Panera then I would take this job. I checked the number that showed up on my phone with the number to the store, but they did not match up. I checked the number on line, didn't come up with any scams or anything. Is there a way to check to see if this is legit? I'm mean I'm sure I could call the store.

Probaly not a good sign but when I tested my subs with no amp I had some trunk rattle, now that I have an amp and a proper enclosure (if you can call a prefabed one proper) I have a little more. Edit: the subs are rear firing, no port tho

I don't know if the Zeus would work. Only 2 ways I know how I could wire it up. If I ran each sub off each channel I'd be looking at 400w per ch or if I bridged the amp that would be 800w both of which would be over the 300w rms for each sub. I would browse the for sale section, but most of ya'll use paypal or something. I got burned big time using paypal and lost a lot of money so I no longer use them.

Think I want to say under 200 for the amp. I know these rubs are rated at 300w rms and don't like to go over that. And thanks for the help.

Does anyone know if ya can get a replacement tube that goes between the egr valve and exhaust manifold? I broke mine trying to replace my egr valve today. Don't ask, it was stupid.

I just got a phone call bout another job, cept this one is back home. Wish I would of gotten the call yesterday or earlier this morning. One question I was asked was where was I living now. I told him that I was living in Benton Ky but was planning on moving back to Kirkwood. He then asked if I was planning on comming back anytime soon, I told him that I was just up there over the weekend and just gotten back just a few hours ago. So he is going to set up a phone interview sometime this week, I'll know when in the next 24-48 hours. Hopefully that goes well. Funny thing tho, I submitted the app for that job about 2 or 3 months ago lol. The job is at Chipolette mexican grill.

I have found a place here back home, but the job part is a bit rough. The place I found is a room for rent, only 450 a month flat. Meaning the 450 includes the utilities. Don't know if that includes cable and internet too. Not really worried there, don't own a tv and I'm only online for a few hours I'm home. I will be looking for work tomorrow around that area before I head back down to Ky. Not looking forward to that, got 3 doubles coming up. Can't remember the persons name that I talked too, but he told me that if I ever change my mind to give them a call. I hate that I can't remember names too well, but give me a set of numbers and its stored in my brain with in the first minute. Yeah a lot of people around here know my screw ups. For the most part they don't hold it against me, hell most have been supportive.

its not far at all bro. well if your gonna be walking it is Driving from Hayward to Santa Rosa is roughly an hour and half, but walking would take little over 20 hours....

thanks guys, yeah I know its a great life experience. My problem really isn't can I afford to move, its can I afford a back up if it goes south. Right now I'm going back and forth between St Louis and Ky, which is just a few hours drive each way, if I was to head out to Cali..thats a one way trip. Either way I would be selling my car to help pay for the move. So no matter where I end up I'd be walking or taking public transportation. Which I kinda like in away. If your driving you don't really get to see things as well as ya would if your walking. Kinda wish I heard bout this job sooner, like two weeks ago. Think what I'm going to do is look for a room to rent or something, I already know I can't afford my own place yet. It would be nice to be back in Cali, I used to be up north in Santa Rosa. Maybe one day I could travel up there and see some old friends, its only a couple hours away (i think).

Ok so I'm up in St Louis right now chillin at a motel. Cheap run down place it is. Whole reason I came up here was cause I thought I had a good chance with this job, now it seems like I have very little chance to get it. I did end up finding a place how ever. Not to shabby of a place, the bedrooms need to be painted cause the previous ppl had girls and the rooms were decorated as such. But onto the title of this thread. Around 8 tonight I got a call from a Panera Bread in Hayward Ca, offering me a job. At least I think. I dunno, with my experience with the company over the last 11 years I'm sure I'd get it. I'd like to take it, I mean it would be a fresh start. I don't know anyone there in Hayward, which also makes it kind of scary. I'm not sure what to do....do I stay where I know people or do I go where no one knows me and vice versa?

A small update on the whole moving home situation. I have a job offer just waiting to tell them when I can start, which could be soon. I already have my car listed for sale, and have a place lined up to live at. I'm heading up to St louis end of not next week but the week after that. Whats weird tho, this person looking for a roommate was my server yesterday, even knows some of the same people I do. One of these common friends is going over to his house today after work. Now I just hung out with her the other day when we both went to buffalo wild wings so I could talk to a manager. She has also known me for little over 10 years, so I told him that he could talk to her. I figured why not have him talk to someone who knows me as well as talk to me too. I know she will put in a good word for me. Hopefully this will be my last trip up there, before moving.

No Laura is not the girl from the other night, shes a friend of mine. I known this girl since 2000, shes just a really sweet girl. Far as that other girl, I'm sayin screw it. Since I landed this job I'm going to focus on finding an apartment so I can give the G.M a date of when I can start.

nope, thats not me...got no family to support. But anyways, didn't get to hang last night. She was off so yeah. I'm back home right now, just got done talking to the manager at Buffalo Wild Wings. It sounds like I got the job as a cook, so thats good. My friend Laura and I went down there together, the manager reconized me at first then later on her. The 3 of us went to school together, me and the manager are class of 99 Laura was class of 03. I ran into Laura at her job, dropped in to see if her or any of my other friends were there. Laura knew I had my car here yet she asked if I wanted to ride with her down to the bdubs here in town. Course I said yes, think I'm going to pass up a chance to roll with pretty lady? Funny thing, the manager thought Laura was my lady friend and even asked if she was. Before I could say a word, she just yep. A couple of other people thought we was there together and not there to talk to the manager. We was both offered jobs. I'm accepting for sure, she already had 2 jobs but is really considering dropping one to work at Bdubs (bdubs=buffalo wild wings). Before ya go tellin me I should put it in her butt, she does have a bf. Ok so she cheated on him with me....jk...it's not cheating if ya hangin as friends.
