I just ordered a Kicker zx350.2. 110 watts at 4 ohms. What are some good 6x9's that'll work with it and sound great. Buget is 100-200.

Well after endless faxing and emailing they unfroze it. So now of to finish my shopping spree. lesson learned.

Yeah I wanted to buy direct from places but some things I had to cut corners on price wise going through ebay.

Paypal has once again screwed me. Check this story out. I open up a paypal account and have money deposited, 1000.00 to be exact. Well I log onto my paypal account to check the status on my Alpine cd player I ordered off Ebay. Guess what the account was frozen by Paypal but the cd player transaction went through. So now I have to wait on all this investigation to be done by them because they said large deposits put up a suspicious activity flag. To rewind back to 2006. I had a Ebay account to where I sold stuff here and there nothing major. Well I bought a Cadence sub locally for 450.00, played around with it for a few weeks then wanted to upgrade. So, I sell it on Ebay for I think 350.00. Well that account too was flagged saying that a large deposit flags suspicious activity. So what they did was froze that account to do their investigating. I sent all the info they asked for my ssn#, bank account #, driver licensce #, and at the end of that they couldn't conclude the investigation. So what they did was hold the money for 6 months, closed my account permanently and sent me a check after that 6 months. After that 6 months I wasn't able to use those funds to support my car audio addiction and never replaced my system. now what I'm afraid of is that happening again with this this new account and I won't be able to use these funds I had set aside for car audio either, thus extending my bass withdrawl. I looked at a few post about Paypal over the internet and people are saying that Paypal is being investigated by the BBB, Attorney General and such for them doing the things they do to people's accounts. I've read about quite a few people this has happened to, the only thing is it doesn't say how the matter was ever resolved. I'm not sure but I heard they do this to people and the money thats frozen Paypal collects intrest off of. Does anybody have any suggestions on this matter? It seems everytime I talk to a customer service person they tell me the same thing, " your account is being reviewed" no other answers.

If I do get the 2500 I'll prolly do a single fully loaded btl either 12 or 15, or something along the lines of that thats comparable to the btl. If its the 1500 prolly 2 12's either fi ssd's or 2 level 4 dc's. I can't afford the best but I'm buying a new peice every couple days of decent quality stuff. So far I dropped 250.00 on a bunch of Knukonceptz products, 160.00 on a Alpine 9881(I think thats the right model), another 160.00 tomorrow on a kicker 350.4. After this comes the sub amp and the 6x9's and the last thing will be subs. I'm not getting into electrical yet cause I don't know what kind of car I'll be working with yet.

With running something like the 2500 would I need a battery in the back or would a ho alt and a 1800 or 2000 kinetic under the hood be sufficient, or would a ho alt and kinetic 800 in the trunk be better?

I'm really liking the 2500.1 but if I don't get it it'll definately be the 1500.1. I'll prolly do a dual 12 or single 15 setup with the 1500 or a single 12, 15 with the 2500. Those are the setups I'm thinking about. Do the 1500's have 1/0 gauge inputs?

I was thinking about it doing sub up port back but after looking on youtube a single 15 sub back port back beats like a mofo. I'm just trying to get the most out of a setup whether it's split wattage and more surface area or more wattage to a single sub. Guess I'll have to wait for the exact car it's going in. Sh@t man I wanna do a wall with two 18"s but I like the element of suprise when you pull up and beat the hell out of the block from the trunk.

Yea I know all about upgrading electricals I'm already planning on that. I'm just waiting on icome tax so I can get a daily beater prolly a cavalier, civic something small. I might do a 18" btl sub up port back in the trunk, two ported 12"s rearfiring, two 15"s somehow I have no idea yet. I know an 18 isn't optimal in that situation I just wanna be different, thats my goal.

I'm in the ordering stage of my system. I'll be ordering the kicker zx350.1 wednsday. This is my first system where I have a good budget to work with so I'm getting all the advice and input as I go. After this I'll just need a sub amp, woofers, and 6x9s. I'm pushing for a Kixker zx2500.1 but I might just settle for a zx1500.1, I just don't know how far into electrical upgrades I want to go yet. I know this is kinda off topic but does anyone know what kind of audible difference there is between the 1500.1 and the 2500.1 on two 12's daily? wenn_du_weinst- thats just f@cking insane , in a good way btw- that chick in your avatar is hot as hell!

I was wondering how to determine how many speakers/watts to run for mids and highs. The sub amp will be around 1500-2000 daily. I was looking at a Kicker zx 350.4 it's 60 x 4 at 4 ohms and i was gonna use that with four 6x9's across the back dash. Do you guys think that'll be too ear piercing at full tilt?

Those actually do look decent know that I seen em. Two years ago someone tried selling me a diesel amp and it had the same design as a legacy amp. Only thing different was it said diesel instead of Legacy.
