It was a basic market research question. I wasn't totally familiar with DC, just wanted to know what they were capable of. Just so you know, some companies either overrate or underrate power ratings. Many companies appear to be steering back to CEA2006 compliance, which means the product is rated correctly. Wasn't sure if they were in compliance or not because I wasnt that familiar with them. Noot a noob thread by any means.Maybe on this thread but not in this industry.

I have a question or three. Does DC under-rate their subs? Does DC make subs that can be beat on by a Sundown 3000D, or even a 4500D all day long? The reason I ask is I have a project in mind, but here in AZ many of the competitors and customers out here are running big amps for big Db. I'm looking for something that can hang with at least 3kw consistantly and will last.

I have used both and not to sound self-promoting but Second Skin is the way to go. It is a better engineered, American made product that performs as promised. The customer service can't be beat. BTW, the company is now owned by Ken Kanefield of Tucson, AZ
