  1. Epic shop electrical for the win! Now that you'll be at full power expect your neighbors to be bitchin a whole lot more... er wait you destroy phone books in your shop... nevermind HAHA!
  2. I need to find one of these motors so PSI can build me another 12 inch sub just like the one I won from Johnathan Price.
  3. Sorry mane but 300 bucks is too much for Kicker 15's. 100 bucks a piece to anybody that really knows car audio would be more doable. There are so many forums to sell Car Stereo stuff. If you list for the right price it will sell.
  4. Thanks man! The DC shirts that will be given away are the black ones. That winner will also get DC stickers and 3 feet of Audio Technix deadener. The other winner will get the Crescendo Audio T shirt and the Crescendo Audio stickers. We aren't big ballin but we figure somebody will enjoy it.
  5. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=avic+x910bt&biw=1728&bih=842&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=12650414839687771973&sa=X&ei=ZxTfTYDUOI_EgAfTprHfCg&ved=0CD8Q8wIwAQ Pioneer AVIC X910BT. It has a volume knob. Only has 2.2v pre outs though> i ran my old one with an Audio Control Matrix and it sounded great.
  6. It's all good man no offense taken. I'm pretty new to this forum so I'll take the advice.
  7. X 2, you post pics up first then if theres demand people will ask for vids.. plus asking people to post in your topic is like high fiveing yourself in public, you just have to let to topic do what its going to do on its own.. Gotcha. I have never really posted much on this forum so I didn't really know what the ground rules were. I son't typically take pictures but I may start doing that.
  8. A few people have told me that. I just hate when someone uploads a 10 minute video in 4 different parts. I will try to make them a little shorter though. Youre not the only one that has said something. This video had a lot of content in it though.
  9. BTW I am doing a giveaway on my channel along with OkanaganDCAUDIO. Some killer DC Audio T shirts, and some Audio Technix sound deadner. All you have to do is be a subscriber to be elgible to win!
  10. Hey it's the man himself thorshammer! Thanks for the reply mane! I do have to say part of my motivation for my setup is from watchin your youtube videos. I'm a huge fan of Crescendo amps though is why Im going with them. The trunk in my civic is actually pretty big. If I do a box like you say 1.2 cubes I could fit that in and still have some room left for batteries which I could put some mdf over to mount my amps. I wish I was good at drawing or something but I think it could work. Thanks again for takin the time to read my thread!
  11. With the box, batteries, amps, and subwoffers Im figuring in safely for 750 extra pounds in the trunk. The car will run like dogshit but I dont drive it fast anyways. Gas mileage will eat shit more also but oh well. I gotta have my toys!
  12. Yeah I have figured in the sag. Got my eye on a pair of air shocks with heavy duty springs. I dont have room for bigger subs really. Can't do 15's or 18's in a Civic unless I want to wall it but I have a baby seat that needs to stay in there. I think Im gonna go with the 2 5500s for the final system. I can buy one of the 5500s and then 2 of the 10's. Then buy another 5500 and the other 2 10's later. I should plan on supplying current for around 13,000 watts to be safe. I think 5 HC2400s should suffice what do you guys think?
  13. Hopin to have not much voltage drop with 5 HC2400s and a 350 amp alternator. Might do 5 HC2400's because my mids and highs amp is 1000 watts and I might end up doing 2 of those eventually.
  14. Yeah I love big systems but 4 5500's is a little bit extreme HAHA! Im almost positive I can only fit 1 alternator in that car so thats a factor also. I was curious by what ya meant that I wouldn't see close to RMS? Howcome?
  15. I was thinking 1 3500 per sub originally but those amps just 3500 watts. The old Crescendo Audio 3Kp was over 4000 watts RMS at 14.4 at .5 ohm. Since the BC 3500 is 500 more watts Im guessing the new amp will be around 4500 watts RMS at 14.4 at .5 ohm. That would be around 9000 watts per pair strapped up. If the box was perfect that would still be too much?
  16. I could always make the box a little smaller. Dont want to lose all of my trunk but the box builder guy would know what to do and how big to make it based on the input I would give him of how much power I was going to run to them. Im going to start with 1 3500 and 2 of the 10s until I can afford the rest. I just wanted to have a so called end game system in mind. Buying my batteries and wire and an alternator soon so I want to know what the final product will be so I can do the alt and battery and wire upgrades accordingly.
  17. So if I wanted to do 4 lvl 5 10's you all are saying I would be better off going with two BC5500's instad of 4 BC3500's? Or would that still be too much power for them? Thanks for the tips. I'm not a rookie but I know there are more experienced people out there than me.
  18. Thanks for the quick replies LOL. Will be a daily driver. Box professionally built by the local guy who makes killer boxes for a bunch of people in this area from FloridaSPL.com. With that much power on them won't be too crazy on the gain knob cuz it'll probably cause instant hearing damage. This setup will be in my 2004 Civic. 1.7 cubes per sub. Port firing into the cabin of the car sealed off from the trunk.
  19. I was wondering exactly how many watts the DC Audio lvl 5 10's can take. Was thinking of 4 of them and 4 Crescendo Audio BC3500's on them strapped up. The BC3500 will do close to 4500 watts RMS at 14.4 at half ohm so doin the math if I had 4 of them it would be in the 18,000 watt range. I saw Thorshammer had some 10's and I believe he had 7,000 watts or something on each one.
