Tips for selling system
Lou DIzzzzle replied to JEMT8's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Sorry mane but 300 bucks is too much for Kicker 15's. 100 bucks a piece to anybody that really knows car audio would be more doable. There are so many forums to sell Car Stereo stuff. If you list for the right price it will sell. -

It has a volume knob. Only has 2.2v pre outs though> i ran my old one with an Audio Control Matrix and it sounded great. -
X 2, you post pics up first then if theres demand people will ask for vids.. plus asking people to post in your topic is like high fiveing yourself in public, you just have to let to topic do what its going to do on its own.. Gotcha. I have never really posted much on this forum so I didn't really know what the ground rules were. I son't typically take pictures but I may start doing that.

Hey it's the man himself thorshammer! Thanks for the reply mane! I do have to say part of my motivation for my setup is from watchin your youtube videos. I'm a huge fan of Crescendo amps though is why Im going with them. The trunk in my civic is actually pretty big. If I do a box like you say 1.2 cubes I could fit that in and still have some room left for batteries which I could put some mdf over to mount my amps. I wish I was good at drawing or something but I think it could work. Thanks again for takin the time to read my thread!

Yeah I have figured in the sag. Got my eye on a pair of air shocks with heavy duty springs. I dont have room for bigger subs really. Can't do 15's or 18's in a Civic unless I want to wall it but I have a baby seat that needs to stay in there. I think Im gonna go with the 2 5500s for the final system. I can buy one of the 5500s and then 2 of the 10's. Then buy another 5500 and the other 2 10's later. I should plan on supplying current for around 13,000 watts to be safe. I think 5 HC2400s should suffice what do you guys think?

I was thinking 1 3500 per sub originally but those amps just 3500 watts. The old Crescendo Audio 3Kp was over 4000 watts RMS at 14.4 at .5 ohm. Since the BC 3500 is 500 more watts Im guessing the new amp will be around 4500 watts RMS at 14.4 at .5 ohm. That would be around 9000 watts per pair strapped up. If the box was perfect that would still be too much?

I could always make the box a little smaller. Dont want to lose all of my trunk but the box builder guy would know what to do and how big to make it based on the input I would give him of how much power I was going to run to them. Im going to start with 1 3500 and 2 of the 10s until I can afford the rest. I just wanted to have a so called end game system in mind. Buying my batteries and wire and an alternator soon so I want to know what the final product will be so I can do the alt and battery and wire upgrades accordingly.

Thanks for the quick replies LOL. Will be a daily driver. Box professionally built by the local guy who makes killer boxes for a bunch of people in this area from FloridaSPL.com. With that much power on them won't be too crazy on the gain knob cuz it'll probably cause instant hearing damage. This setup will be in my 2004 Civic. 1.7 cubes per sub. Port firing into the cabin of the car sealed off from the trunk.

I was wondering exactly how many watts the DC Audio lvl 5 10's can take. Was thinking of 4 of them and 4 Crescendo Audio BC3500's on them strapped up. The BC3500 will do close to 4500 watts RMS at 14.4 at half ohm so doin the math if I had 4 of them it would be in the 18,000 watt range. I saw Thorshammer had some 10's and I believe he had 7,000 watts or something on each one.
