  1. I hate metro.

I recommend checking out the NTCC and LKC servers if you are low to average skilled. They ban you if you consistently get huge amounts of kills, because the admins don't want to constantly defend the higher skilled players when it comes to the noobs making hacking accusations (especially NTCC). I usually frequent the LKC and NTCC TDM servers, and jump into non-hardcore servers with other SMD members (usually Meade and Audiofanaticz).

    Adding you guys BTW

Ya I played 2 games total, and had a kd of like .10. Go to look at how the matchmaking was set up, Ranked. Lol why would it be ranked by default, not everyones ready for that right from the get go. Switched that off, and did A LOT better afterwards, had games of like 3-30 on ranked, was evening out more often when that was off.

Edit: Duh Fuk, yesterday I played and had great FPS, get on today, actually used a programes turbo booster and the games running slower :(

  2. I can't agree anymore with you bigsix. When I heard about them the first though that came to mind was, "what the fuck, did they forget to check who's actually driving?!" Something is definetely wrong.

Edit: To be honest too, if I was one of the victims that had the same truck, I would get the best lawyer on the planet earth and sue the living shit out of the LAPD. Yes he is a cop killer, but they still need to think sensibly, how can we put our trust of protection into them when they act hot headidly and not calming and smoothly. Just my .02. I am not agreeing with his actions either, for those that get easily booty hurt.

  3. one of my friends from way back posted these pics on his facebook page and i thought it was a pretty interesting topic to bring up here. I see people complaining about "brand X" being too expensive and how they are such a rip off because "brand Y" makes a much cheaper amp.

Anyway, nowadays, some of these amps are in the 40 - 50 cents per watt range and people STILL bitching about pricing.

Well let me tell you how it USED TO BE. You saw an amp behind the glass case at your local shop and you WEREN'T getting it. Period. LOL.

the math on that ^^^ is about $8.50 - $8.75 per watt. HOLY SHIT you say....well we said that too :D

I personally run T2500.1bd cp amps that MSRP @ $1599.99 and they all have birthsheets over 3300 watts RMS. That is $.048 cents a watt. AT FULL MSRP. Nobody pays that. Lets say you find my amp for $999.99. A RACK for an amp sounds expensive, FUCK THAT you say.....well i say that is .30 cents a watt. In my day, and my buddy Chris too, we would probably cut our own mother's arm off and backhand our grandmother with it to get a deal like that. LOL :D :D

so anyway, i thought it was an interesting topic. I know we are talking RF here but now use your favorite brand and you might be talking 15-20 cents a watt. Who the hell bitches about that?

I seriously was thinking about this shit today!!! Technology has come a long damn way from when i see old amps like that. 200 watt amp for more than what a T2500bdCP goes for today at full retail, that is nuts!!! Glad we got sonic to get them for a stack! Good post steve

  4. Are dual inputs safe for the amp? I don't know I've never done a build this big before. How do I contact tool maker without a facebook? I deactivated my facebook and I don't really have any plans to put it back up. How do dual inputs work? Do I need another dual input for the ground?

Yes dual inputs for both power and ground. They are completely safe to use, only thing to worry about is the same thing when you plug in the normal pos/neg wires. Avoid stray wires that could arc and create a short.

  5. Well, here's the dimensions for the box. 40" wide x 18" tall x 28" deep designed by Ram-Designs. Do you think that this will be good for the subs? Unfortunately I have to tune by ear as I do not have a DD-1 or CC-1 and there's almost no one around where I live that has one according to the tools map.

Do not tune by ear, or you will really risk blowing them. If you have a DMM availible, you can use that to tune the amp to a certain output wattage, which when I used to do that, I would tune it lower than what it said just to be safe. Steve himself threw that sub on a T2500bdCP, nominal ohm rating I do not know, but it took it full power free air no problem.
