yes, brutus does rated power. lets just not talk about the hifi line, if you want a good budget amp get the brutus/aq/ap check on ur local craiglist. i got a brutus 1600. for 60 bux !!! got loud on 2 12s, then sold it for 160 lol i live in memphis and around here nobody cares about what sounds good. i have seen a lot of people buy the sony 2000 amps from wal mart and love it and brag about how their beating down the block and whatnot. i always just shack my head so craigslist is full of cheap cheap stuff.

Some companies lie to get you to buy there product. Hell, and aq1200 is in the $250 price range, but it can do well over 1500wRMs @ 1ohm...and other companies do this backwards...to make you think the way you are. If it does a solid 1500wRMS, i'd be suprised. But it is a class D, so it might be able to, but I doubt it. I wouldn't put my money on it. ok so basically your kinda saying how i feel. its cheaper so why would it do 1500 rms? but also on the other hand maybe they are just producing more than they are selling cause its not name brand. idk just trying to get a firmer grasp on the stuff. only real way to test is too have a different brand tested against the hifi series is the only real way to KNOW fully if its lying or not.

but the same as the others are at 4 ohm it does 500 2 is 1000 and 1 is 1500. RMS is what it says. so do they lie?

ok so i need help... i have been thinking about buying the hifonics hifi 1500. but must know why is it only 200 were as the kicker 1500 is 450+? i dont get how i paid 200 for my RF prime 500 and can get triple the power for the same price.?...

well idk about the 99s but i do know they run similar stuff. if you life the seats up in the back just fold them forwards. there is like 10 screws on each seat. the small and large come off separate. then under the flap on the backrest part there are two big screws. i used a socket with an elbow. easy money unless you lose the screws and stuff. i will never be able to put them back in unless i can find some makeshift holders. the backrest just lifts off like the door panels do just up up and away. then you have a flat surface to hold stuff. a 6 inch space for whatever and i bought a rubber pad that's made for setting workout equipment on from wallyworld for 20 bucks and cut it to fit and stacked like 6 layers on the frame. that metal frame is 55 by 12 if i remember right but you can go as far as 20 inches out at the top if your not super tall. no vibrations from the metal to wood with some bass. just when you pull the seat off you will see the frame for the backrest just cover that in something too so no metal touches. you will know when you see. a box at 55 inches wide has like 3 inches of clearance on both sides. perfect fit.

thanks everyone i read everything with a smile on my face knowing i did right. as for the vents yes i do. its the only thing that rattles on my truck and i hate them. i ran 2 4 inch lag bolts through the box into the back of the truck on the frame for the seats. it doesn't go outside i promise. but yea so i cant just "take it out" it weights prob 80-100 pounds so its impossible to get out by myself. i meant to cover them up with like 39 layers of duck tape. but of course when i was doing it, it was super bowl sunday lol. had to get inside before it started to snow so i could watch the game. of course i forgot. but its not all that bad since its not 30k watts.

I'm not fretting over my system at all. I love it and am proud of the work it took. Which is why I was not afraid to show it. I have never seen anything small on here either tis another reason why I posted. I can get more pictures if you would like. My phone is 8mp. I can get good ones. it was my first attempt in leathering something. i hated it don't think i will ever do that again. i ripped it off and thought i would experiment with fiberglass. which is almost as bad its still not a cube like it should be... but i will redo it one day and make it right. it does its job hidden so idc what it looks like.

ok i just want to start off by saying everything on this site is amazing. simply mind blowing(literally). but what about the little guys that are afraid to post anything on the SMD forum because its not a bazillion watts and 47 subs? well i just want to post my simple build and see what you guys have to say. total cost was roughly 450. and i built the bus bar just to help to keep from running more than one stuff off one post up front. that's under rear seat frame as well as the Rockford 500 the Orion 300 for front door speakers and it powers my relay to turn on the amps to help with the HU. the box is 55x20x20. i want to add two more comps and make it 55x20x25 and get a 1k amp but i had GF aggro with that idea... they just don't understand. and i know its kicker but around here those are beast. i would love more than anything to have some real subs but times over here in Memphis are not as easy going working minimum wage. but just let me know what you think.
