  1. You think that amp will be sufficient enough to put enough power into the 2 SA-15's?
  2. Any way to safely wire 3 subs (SVC I believe) to a mono-block? I know I can wire them to a 6ohm load but is that all? I'm still learning so bare with me. Ive decided this is what I'm going to go with as long as CF provides with my trunk. I'm doubting it will but a man can dream. And when it comes to the Sundown Audio SA15's - SA12's D2 v the D4 What's the difference? RMS seems to be the same. Ill update this thread when/If I manage to get the stuff I need and I will post with updates as this will be my build thread unless I change my mind on the setup. Im still working on power upgrades atm.
  3. Steve. Lookin to pick up Multiple peice's of your SMD line - tuning equipment. Shoot me a message. This forum's foreign to me. Just hopped back on here after re-starting my build.

  4. New build in progress

  5. Hmm maybe Im reading it wrong? Dunno. Click Here<-- This is the specs for it, I got the n212's No worries, learning is life. But the link takes me to the specs, but do not specify D1 or d2. Knowing this will be important when figuring out an amp, and how it is wired. Yeah theres an option there that lets you select whether its d1 or d2 all the specs are custom made for the buyer and they machine it, then send it. I know, lol, the point is do you have dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm. Im soo confused haha, I have no idea.

  8. You should do a little bit more research. $450 for a max possible 2000 watts at 2 ohms isn't a very good deal. One thing a lot of people forgot to ask is what voicecoil configurations he purchased. Will the final ohm load be 1 ohm, 2 ohm, there are many options here. If both subs wired down to 1 ohm the AQ3500 is your best option. Can be had for $749 brand new shipped. Can be found for $550 used. If 1 ohm each sub wired separately, do two AQ2200 at $389 shipped each. Can be found used for under $300 a piece. Some are on caco right now and I think one here. Yeah they will be at 1ohm wired separately. I just hope I have enough trunk space to feed them.

I got the single voice coil n212's with pchamber and HiXMcoil rated for daily driving.
  10. Thanks for all the input guys, Im just never satisfied with a system untill I turn heads atleast a block away haha.
  11. Yeah they're fully loaded daily speakers. I mean I dont mind paying 700 for ONE but not a piece you know? So soundigital 8k eh? Ill check it out.
  12. I ordered 2 FI BTL NS12 Subwoofers rated at 2000rms each. Being as of course I want to run them at full power or at least close to, what would be my best option for two amps, or one. The best quality for the doller. but I dont want to pay 700 a piece for an amp ya know? This is work in progress so they will sit dormant for awhile as I still need to get my h/o alternator and do my big 3. So pretty much, best bang for the buck.
  13. Ok fellas, Im pretty new to the audio game and I need alittle help with this thing. Ive read on other forums that the BX12 is one of the hardest epicenters to get tuned in correctly and I have absolutely no experience In doing this. Being as you have to tune your amps punch/gain/hrtz along with the epicenters expansions/wides and voltage so its like a recipe, It all has to be just right. So has anyone ever played with these things before? Or have any type of knowledge that could help me out or point me into the right direction. Its wired to a 500 watt rockford fosgate punch amp so it should work fine. Ive noticed that what its currently at it hits HARD but only on certain base frequency, Some of them completely dont register, and some of them sound like they are gonna blow my subs. I just dont want my ignorance to cost me alot of money to replace stuff. Any feedback is great. btw Im running 2 "12 memphis power reference subs, brand new but should be broken in by now.
