Ah ok because you can bridge it into 4ohms what you need to do is wire each DVC in parallel to 20hms and then wire those in series to make 4ohms. Then put that 4ohm load into the correct bridging terminals on the amp. But it is a Boss amp and you won't be able to get anything like that power. Go on their website and try to get the proper manual

If the amp is 2ohm stable on each channel then the second set up with each DVC sub wired in parallel down to 2ohm will get the most power. However the problem I can see is that since it is a 2-channel amp it will be putting out the left and right signal through each sub. When the music was recorded the bass may not have been central and so one sub may move more than the other

No way!!! I bought my dad that amp and a 10 gauge wiring kit for £10 on ebay to power a flat 12" sub Then I almost blew it up running a dual 4 ohm VC wired down to 2 ohm in bridged mode. It would get very very hot and switch off after a while
