i bought 1 pair of ID CTX 5.25's from him on the 14th of March.

    Link to WTB thread

he said he would ship via USPS.

He lives only 2 states down.

Its been 3 weeks as of today, 4th of April, and i still havent received the speakers.

He barely responds to pm's, takes awhile to or just completely ignores them.

i've asked for tracking numbers and he will not show them.

Nate told me he's been posting vids of SBN and posting on the forum. So i would think he can see the pm's.

heres a pic of the transaction through paypal:

  2. Sounds like voltage protection. Where is your ground and is it on a sturdy piece of metal and is it sanded down all the way. Proper sized wiring too? What are the gains set to? Partially blown fuse?

    x2

check gains, some amps will protect if gains are to high causing clipping.

also about the remote wire, you can connect the remote wire from the amp to the red wire on the back of most head units.

  3. and to add the criticism,

its better looking than that kid with the mazda 323 with the pioneers haha

all you gotta do is hide some wires and get those speakers outta the cup holders... where do u put your drinks anyways?

but other than that, its not bad, and looks pretty loud.

but are all those speakers besides the subs on an amp?

  4. if you found the 3kwp used its a great amp. as said it is not made any more. i ran a 3kwp per btl 15 a few years ago and it did great. i run a 3500 per btl on my 18's now and no issues. im going to put a 5500 on each tonight-

Ok ill have to call them mabe as the new site isnt up yet. The 15's should be able to handle the 3500 if gained properly.? wouldnt be maxed. Its nice to have headroom i guess. also whats is your vehicle/electrical setup?

i drive a 87 s10 blazer with stock alt and 4 103ah batts. it will drop to 11.9-12v when i get on it. its good for a 152 legal playing music-

    thats with 2 3500?
