Depending on stud size and room around the alternator, one run of 0 gauge should be good enough, could do two but its up to you.
A run of 0 gauge from the alt to the + of the front battery.
One run from the front battery positive to the back battery +.
One run from the front battery -negative to the back battery -.

They sell them at lowes.
Like skittles said, you have to go where the mdf is stacked at, but its usually at the end of the rows in small shelves.

Hello SMD!
I know there is a member, alpha, who is selling these amps.
But that's a no go there.
I really wanna trade my soundigital 8k plus cash on top from my part.
But if anyone is interested in buying a sd8k, silver model, let me know.
Thanks,
Larry

Get the zcons. They are new, and u can get better c/s and recones and stuff

I usually charge mine once a week.
2 amp setting.
Everything hooked up.
Leave it overnight.
Trickle charge doesn't exceed a batts fully charged state.
Itll keep a batt at its float charge.
I don't see how it could hurt a batt or batts.

And I think all the posts on the site are from 09 and back...
But they did have pics of a show in lafayette Indiana. Place called Sound Check

I just spent 30 minutes on their site...
Couldn't find and videos of the sub up close or any of their amps.
There are some dead link YouTube and photobucket vids on the site but none of them had thumbnails of their systems up close.
The one I watched of a burp, was a really low quality vid.
Their amps model numbers are taken off of their clamped tests at 18 volts.
They do rated on non typical applications.
I went through all the subs they had listed on the forum, they look really well built, especially that quad stacked mag.
I was thinking the price for the subs, that could easily take 6000 would be way above $800 mark.
But you said the dual 1s are 340 and the dual 2s are 280...
Why is there such a huge margin in pricing for d1 and d2?
I couldn't find vids either of the subs being played daily or on music for a minute or 2.
But the scores they were posting that their teams reached were pretty amazing.
158.x on one 18. But then a person on there was doing 156.x on two 18s
Lots of numbers but no proof.

Walled in the Silverado, backup cam installed but I also parked in spots and areas that people walking up or cars popping up wasn't likely. Go to the grocery store, and chances are my truck is parked in the back area slanted taking two spots, lol. I called it Head Turner parking and do it almost everywhere, lol
Haha parking in two spots is a headturner!
Especially sideways.

Anything more then 600w daily is too much power when the system isnt adequately safe guarded against abuse. I have had no problem with the 5k on mine, but every build is different
You ever put up that 5k video yet?
I need to make some people believe. They keep saying skar subs will blow before you get to that point.

under the hood is just stock alt
stinger 1/0 ground strap off alt to chassis
stinger 1/0 Big 3 on interstate battery
stinger 1/0 positive run to the trunk
stinger 1/0 negative run to chassis under trunk
then three cheapo batts i had sitting around the shop
Batts hooked up with Install Bay 1/0 (more like slightly over sized 4awg)
with Stinger 4awg power and grounds to amp
All Install Bay 8awg for sub-woofer leads
Non of this is special but i think i only had like $75 in to the wiring
does the sub get low in tht box?
and you only spent 75 on that wiring, dang, did u get a deal on the stinger ?

electrical specs?
and sick color choice.

Unwound and shit haha.
If you don't have a dd-1, I would use a dmm like you have done.
But save up and get one for sure.

It just started out of nowhere. Ever since I stupidly plugged the rcas when car was running/amp.
Pioneer hu will blow an internally fuse unlike other brands who use slow- blow ones
Today after work. I grounded my RCAs at the hu, grounded hu to inside dash bar, AMD also grounded it to one of the dual inputs for my amp.
But I still get alternator whine, white noise when nothing is playing, and pops and clicks when I brake or Rom my volume knob on hu up.
I don't understand what could be the problem...
I checked the grounds in my car and all but one to the chassis in the trunk was loose.( cheap wire broke terminal ring.)
I fixed that and still yet feedback.
I unplugged the rcas from my sub amp and still white noise coming from the subs when gain knob is maxed when no music is playing.
And even when the rcas or unhooked from the sub amp, I get clicking noise when rolling the hu volume anywhere from 5-20 when gain is maxed....
I've done everything I could think of besides checking the RCA jumper to the Pac-lc 1.
What could he causing all this feedback...
You cannot hear any of this noise when music is playing but once its quiet, you hear it.
Using my turn signal, flipping the headlight switch, and the press of the brake all cause pops and clicks through the highs and mids...
anyone has any idea what's going on.....
-
If you are getting noises through mids and highs.
Check grounds.
But pioneers blowimg pico? fuses are common. Google the fix
-
Tell me how it goes, bassrace.
I'm gonna ground my hu to a bar in the dash first to see if tht fixes the feedback.
Then if its a no go, ill go straight to a batt.
Lmk wats up
-
your getting whine and noise out of nowhere too?!
im on the same boat as well.
but try what skyhigh mentioned.
im going to try this tomoro when im free.

i have my skar vvx 12s in 4 cubes net and i currently run a audioque 3500d on them at 1/5ohm..
NOW with that being said i only have the gains set for about 2200 rms.. and the subs reach max safe excursion and they take it all day long..
i did have a saz1500 at 1/2ohm on them... but that wasnt enough
dang, do they get warm or alittle smelly after playing them full?
-
Even if the dmm is set at 2000, I would think it would read close to 2, you know, rounding up.
how to do 2 runs of 0 gauge wire
in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring

TThe groundimg of your batts through a piece of 0 gauge wire, negative to negative, will only be good if you have upgraded the grounds underneath the hood. By doing the big 3
You can ground a batt in the same spot as another batt's ground.
But you want to do the big 3 and up the groundage in your vehicle before adding those batts.
