Black wire is any ground available.

The red and blue wires is soldered inline with the yellow 12 v constant wire closest to the headunit.

Preferably at the radio wire harness.

I've had the same problem with my pioneer headunit.

Every thing you tried, I have tried as well. but still failed to fix the noise.

Until I used an inline power noise filter.

I just matched up the fuse rating to the headunit and bought the one closest to the fusing.

I was wondering what is the most accurate digital meter.

My analog meter I bought vibrated to shit.

And reads wrong constantly.
