Metal will resonate. It would be very rigid but it may not be easy to kill the resonation
i forgot where i had seen it but it was in a panda or marbella they did steel no wall setup and were using 1"+thick plate for everything
edit- fuck it was murillo from soundigital
this was the plate he was using (his photo)

not every car works well with port behind driver
ive had VERY good luck with subs bottom port up top
and a 1500 per sub..lol...be wayyy careful if you have electrical to support them
what crap are you smoking in db drag subs pass side port driver side is the loudest spl period........
no matter the car
i wouldnt wast my time doing a wall with those subs but that me

take piece .25" wood make it slightly smaller then the square then glue/screw it on then carpet it all and fold carpet into the square
-
only problem with welding wire is it dont like the heat and tends to melt/expose over time in engine compartment if near HOT things
so you want to make sure you use a heat resistant sheath
-
thats good price on the wire i wish i had the extra cash/ need for that wire

your dimensions are going to have to change if you want to put 15s in a box thats only 15" tall
15" sub = 16.5" tall box
and my help to you on box is here- read and read and read some more its not complicated at all

Haha i personally don't care to much. but some people feel as if have the block grounded to to spots is better. if you picked one spot for both, and it was just a sucky ground well that sucks so for some people ifs just to make sure its a solid ground, not so much to make it any better lol. again. its totallll preference
a bad ground is a bad ground regardless of where you put it...
grounding amps to multiple spots on your vehicle isnt preference its more for someone who doesnt know what there doing... ideally you would want to have all your gounds going to 1 spot then from that 1 spot you want to go directly to neg of battery where there is no chance of a "sucky ground"?

The original CC&R's we signed when we purchased the house stated 10pm to 8am. At the last annual meeting (Nov '11) there was a request to move it to 7pm to 8am and it passed. I was out of town for this meeting, however my wife was there and did not tell me it had changed.
how are you to get anything done with a quiet time of 7??
-
It may help(preference) if there are two inputs one the dist block. ground them to seperate parts just to be sure...Some people think seperate pats mean the same part in different places. but try and ground one to what the seat bolt (example dont do that though haha) and one to the frame if you can (again just an example)
..... why???
-
-
people round these parts buy there music legally
-
firing into roof = stupid + port into roof = stupider
-
watch this it will help a lot
Thank you drew (noobtastic) for making this.... hell it should be stickied somewhere
-
it is cheaper yes but not more efficient.... a run directly to battery is a direct route and doesnt have to go through all the parts that make up a vehicle to get back to battery
-
you have 5 days till the weekend- take the sub out the box and inspect things
