cant find the damn things anywhere!! just lookin into gettin one... can anyone point me in the right direction?

alllll finished with the exception of a bed liner, and wheels/tires... also still gotta finger out what i am doing with my subs.... having no bass even though its temporary is driving me nuts

sounds like ur box is too small.... had the same prob with my fosgates... but i dont think any old plywood would work though man... like chip board will likely blow apart... make a big old mess jus when ya get playin some looooows. . . heavy dense wood is ur best bet. ive never used birch, but good ole 3/4 mdf works great for everything ive ever build.

yeah, the plans i have for dual 10's in a tline... there loud!, something like 40" of port for each sub. plays nice and low!

finished the tail gate and re did the tail lights, grill is done also, also orderd some 8000k hid's yesterday

yeah, i donno if my ears are listening diffrent or that they never got broken in because from day one i basically used the doors jus for words and wasnt consernd about any bass outta them. but been tweekin the eq and have the low @ 80. (cant member the mid/or high) but there starting to play better and better... maybe i wont needa worry bout buying diffrent ones, as the sq outta thiese polks is accually impressing me.

yeah i played with my eq on my deck yesterday, crossed the door speakers over at like 80hz soud better for sure, im just thinkin if i can get round ones in there some how it would sound way better, or just get kicks and put some polk components in em... that way i atleast match.

yeah, with my front doors, well hell even my backs, i bet my door pannel itself is a good 4-6" thick.... then the speaker mounts to the door itself and is like 2.25" deep. so , worst comes to worst, i may have a little room as far as depth goes to play with, really thinking about the idea of just getting some qform kicks and puttin some good comps in em and seeing where that gets me as far as sq

yeah, im really jus going through my options, maybe ill trade my two 10" p3 fosgates for a set of q forms. possibly also some components to go in em

yeah i was jus thinkin.. whadda bout when i do my kicks?, i know component sets are midbass and a tweeter, so playin the mid in an infinate works,? or would ideal be to somehow seal er off..... ?... lookin like imma be without bass for awhile, so lookin to get the best sound i can for now without subs.

so ive been drinkin, and been thinkin...... hahaha would building a fiberglass/and or mdf "cup" behind the door speakers to seal them to the door pannel and keep them from playin in the door skin be benificial?

^^^ pretty slick man. im gonna see how hard puttin some 6.5's in my doors instead of the 5x7's cause i bet my little brother will get the polks off me... so i could just about ofset the cost.

yeah, maybe ill check into what i can get rid of these polk 5x7's for... im partial to mb quart. but lookin like imma be shoppin for door speakers. cause im sick of having my truck torn apart, and no arm rest, and that the fact that i spent like 8total hours glassing,bondoin/sanding the outside of this box all for my p3's to sound like fucking dog ass in it... i think ill end up building a t-line box, in the near future, but for now, ill just put better speakers in it..

and when im without subs for a while i know not to expect to be slammin the lows, but i would like something that sounds good ya know. at least be able to tell there is bass in there.

yeah, u know what i mean though. that is a damn good stock system. great sound quality.... like dodge has thier systems pretty dialed in. shit sounds damn good, pull some bass out of it then u can give it hell with the volume nob... i have aftermarket deck and all 4 door speakers... and yeah its clear as day, but no bass. i have 5/7's in it now, would i benifit by swapping to 6.5" round if they fit? then just build plates to take up the extra space

if playing under 80 would be an option, yeah.. im pretty sure dudes charger plays 80and under. if i could get along the lines of that id be happy

my buddie has a charger and that factory system sounds pretty damn good! good bass,(for door speakers) ... but my truck... i have polk db 5/7's in all four doors... they play loud as hell, but getting any bass at all is pretty much not an option.... would switching over to component sets help me out any? because i may be without woofers for a while and cant stand listening to my truck when my headphones have more bass... how are the mb quart comp sets? or what would you guys suggest... that dont cost an arm and a leg

yeah man me too. ive heard only one seald enclosure that was loud... with two alpine 12's in it... . . . for now i love trans line boxes.... but thats not really an option in my truck seeing how i dont wanna pull the back seat
