the angled pieces are to help loading on the back 2 woofers because they were so close to the port according do "DJSNT" good friend of mine does box designs and if it sounds bad i can pull them out. i was gonna use sonotube but the inner diameter on 8in sonotube is only like 7.1in! so i used 9in sewer pipe which i think it is and it had a decent flare lip and came out to like just shy of 8in inner diameter. its 18in in length with 5in external -

Some updates today...for loading on the back woofers I added 2 "walls" 5in a piece with a round over of 1/4in. and added a middle 45 angled wall for a better frequency response. -

ive built a lot of boxes before this is just a new build im doing from my old XXX 12s im going to be using truck bed liner and will be painting the port too. i build and seal all my boxes with PL Premium Advance and works better then anything else and if you buy the right stuff theres lots of different kinds the one i use helps reduce the amount of bracing needed.. i sealed the whole inside with the same glue i used for the box and i actually cut the hole smaller just slightly smaller then needed so its snug and beat the port in with a board on top and used a hammer to pound it in and checked for light to come out the other side. ive built aero port boxes before it is tuned correctly i was shooting for 35 so i did 34.5 according to torres because i added some extra bracing then what was figured on the calc to get closer to 35 i ended up running it through bassbox and came out to 35.2hz ish.. for now i also kept the rubber ring in there just so see maybe..if it helps or makes it worse it will be out eventually.. -
Hey all figure I would start posting more my builds on the Forum I just finished my new box for my 4 DD3500g 10's Coming in in the following week or two. 4 DD3500's 10's Flush Mounted, Tuned 34.5hz, 1.2cu per Woofer. This is my first box I ever Flush Mounted and didn't come out how i would have liked but i will test fit when they come in.. I used two 3in 45's in the back corners to direct the sound towards the port which might help and did a 2x2 brace in between both woofers. I might Truck bed liner my box to hide alot of my inperfections like the screws I should have made them a little more stright. But my guess this should pound and yes this is a trunk box port fired into the cabin.

okay how about this a kid i know named DJ designed me this with my max measurements of my trunk 4 10" Digital Designs 3500's Tuning: 34hz. Compression Chamber: 2.2 Cuft. per side Resp: 26hz. - 73hz.
-
just an idea... with 2 6in aeros fired into the cabin
-
or fire the subs up? and port out the side of the box
-
maybe i could fire 2 subs on each side of the car trunk for unloading and port into the cabin?
-
to me if i can find a way to stagger the subs on a 16 tall 36in wide face i would fire them from the trunk into the cabin and port out 6in out each side of the box into the trunk
-
3ft long? lol please tell me how that would be needed...because ive built plently of aero port boxes with torres box calc and bass box its not wrong
-
Hey all i just ordered 4 DD 3500g 10s Dual 4ohm Im building a box thats 15.5 tall 36 wide 23 deep 6.01cu each speaker will get almost 1.25cu a sub which is what DD told me.. im doing 2 6in pvc aero ports or 4 4in aeros i would like peoples inputs on that but 2 6in seems better port area... anyone recommend a good tuning to drop low and hit hard on the highs im thinking about 35-36hz tuned i will be giving them total about 5k rms... thanks!!

it was braced well and that is an illusion of the camera its very straight and lines up well i built a slot ported over year ago and never a issue the same way as this
-
its reinforced top and bottom with braces and 45s with the lid on i dont have pics of that.
