If you wash your car right before it rains and it's not still clean after it rains:

-It needs to be polished, glaze/waxed/sealed/etc.

-If you have recently done that then you did a half-ass job

-If you did not do a half-ass wax job, then you did a half-ass wash job.

-If you unintentionally did a half-ass wash job, get new mits, use the 2-bucket system, and try some quality MF cloths (i.e: not the rags you use to wash/dry the dogs, or wash dirty tires/rims with)

-If you intentionally did a half-ass wash job, well then..............your paint deserves to be spotty I guess.

You could probably make it even cooler if you used tubes in parallel. It seems like they pumped gas into the whole box they used, instead of tubes.

That would be easy. Just a propane tank with a line that leads to a splitter to each of the tubes, viola, flame dancing table thing.
