  1. The dd-1+ is built off the technology of the dd-1 HV model and then some.

The dd-1+ is good for the same amount of power as the HV so if the HV was needed the dd-1+ would work just fine!
The dd-1+ is a far better tool than the HV model and quicker to use and set your own overlap of your choice.

If you are wanting the grand slam pack your best be would be to email them and inquire about it.

Products due go out of stock from time to time due to the reason is they are popular and sell fast.

The company IS NOT BANKRUPT in any way shape or form.

Whoever is giving you this information is vastly wrong, and I wouldn't listen to anything they ever tell you again.

Also if something is not in stock on www.WCcaraudio.com you can check one of his other online retailers.

There are companies that buy in excessive amounts and may have stock on a particular item.

  2. I call BS.

You already opened the box from the cut through shipping label.

Ive dealt with db-r before as well and never got a product back shipped so half assed.

It seems like your trying to make a fraudulent claim saying it was $1600 ruined since the refurbished amps are only $1009.99.

    http://www.db-r.com/sell/store3/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=152&zenid=rkks09brk569n3hjkrkmn4fqo62nbov6

Not to mention does that box even looked like was smashed and crushed to do that sort of damage to the amp.

For all I know you removed the majority of the packaging taped the box back up and grabbed your camera trying to say this and that...

You bought a refurbished amp that was previously damaged in one way shape or form.

For all we know the cosmetic damage and the bent mounting legs where like that already.

  3. If after the 10 days goes by and you do not hear anything from them, then you could make a post about it, but just chill and give it some time.

EDIT: Here is the thing about blown amps, they are not pristine and will blow again cause everything was stressed to the point of something failing, and now that something failed and repaired it will blow quicker the next time around.

On many amps, we repair them BETTER than new. If they are repaired properly, most amps should not be any more prone to blowing.

    I second that.

If its a legit repair facility, or a guy doing it correct. Then they should be just as strong.

So if 1 out of say 16 mosfets blows in the power supply, all 16 mosfets should be changed with new ones that have a matching date code and batch number and so on.

Replacing just what is broken/blown can lead to a failure sooner than later.

  4. When you buy B-stock/refurbished amps from them it takes 7-10 days because they need to fix the amp prior to shipping it.

Why they are not fixed and ready to go is due to them always being heavily busy fixing a variety of amps for other customers (besides the companies that they deal with direct).
So it doesnt make them money to fix amps ahead of time and sit on the repaired amps waiting for someone to buy them when they can fix them in a timely manner after someone has purchased one.

DB-r is Sundowns Authorized repair facility and has been for many years, they wont take your money and run.

  5. It was already riding on the axle until I made my own leaf packs and put heavy duty shocks with springs in the back.

This height was perfect, I liked it.

But every little bump was slamming the axle to the frame..

Plus with it being 4wd the front axle is wider than a 2wd, so aftermarket rims stick out like a inch past the fenders, so over tiny bumps again just cuts your tire.

Even The factory wheels protrude from the fenders a tad.. :(
    So stupid!
