only thing that sucks about the amp is the 300A Constant draw other than that its all good

Flat meaning every thing on the EQ at 0?[glow=red,2,300]I run all mine Flat for beat[/glow], and only have to turn it to bout 15 to get people grabbin their ears. Comps I'll push it to 25-28 out of 36
No bass boost, Sub set at zero gains about 3/4 and the rest of the EQ is really close to flat

Can't go wrong with audiocontrol? Buy what is right for the system and make it fit later. Nothing wrong with the Audiobahn stuff, Just get what's best for your system.

they make a 4000d now. i have 2 3000d's strapped and @ 14.4v they are rated at 6500watts
I wouldn't mind having 8 of those 4000D's and the new PBX's to replace my old ones.

I use a simple switch. The only time mine pops is when i don't give the amps time to completly turn off

ok so my dvd drive doesnt open unless theres a disc in it. i have to force it open and thats a p.i.t.a. all the time. itll click like it wants to open, and the light flashes. itll open no problem if theres a disc in it though. any ideas?

I don't know all the details but it sounds like they will file Chapter 13 and reorg the company. As everyone knows they have there stuff made oversees and from what was told, they were takin for a ride by one of the manafactures. I was also told that they will be at CES this year so we'll see. I have a couple of Audiobahn amps in the truck so you know I wanna find out whats going on.
As far as the amp the ACT series is real power hungery to produce the power it claims. I would go with the Maxxsonics brand.

300 amps is easy to come by if you can get 15k in power. I'd find a way to feed it. My electrical system goes into shock when I try to go full tilt
